COMPACT SPINNING COASTER
We are proud to exhibit this new version
of our Spinning Coaster at the
IAAPA Expo in Orlando this
November. The success of the
Compact Spinning Coaster has
led to the 3 Loops Coaster for those
operators looking for a bigger, bolder
and even more exciting version of this
great original ride.
Among the many types of rides offered
by SBF-VISA Group, the family coasters
have been, for several years now, at
the forefront of the industry. They have
proved themselves to be the most
popular rides. So popular, in fact, that the
Group has dedicated a department solely
to the development and production
of these rides. On average, we must
produce a new family coaster every 15-
20 days to meet the increasing demand
for our products.
It is not hard to explain this success:
the family coaster is a type of ride that
gives the thrill of speed, up and down
movements and cornering. However, we
are able to do this without excessively
scaring the riders.

SBF-VISA models, above all, have been
designed to be the solution to many
concerns. We are able to address
issues with footprint, layout, ease of
assembly, and transport. The coasters
are ideal for the needs of amusement
parks, shopping centers/malls, FECs,
and travelling showmen alike. Another
key element in their success is that all
these coasters have a self-supporting
base and consequently do not require
foundations.

able to thrill both kids and adults. They
do not create any physical problems and
stimulate that small adrenaline rush that

classic rides, above all when analyzing

lt is also worth noting that SBF-VISA
offers a very wide variety of coaster styles
and sizes, from which the customer can
choose. The track can be made simple
or in a figure-eight. We can also offer a
variable length and height. The cars can
be themed as the classic caterpillar,
dragon, shark, planes, mine wagons,
motor cars, trucks, etc. In addition to the
traditional versions, we offer the above
mentioned in the spinning action version.
Most importantly, our main focus is to
deliver high quality for a good price.

SBF-Visa Group is very pleased to display its rides at the IAAPA Attractions Expo in
Orlando, where the company’s exhibiting space will measure no less than 800sqm
indoors plus another 600sqm outdoors.
The event will see the world première of the ride called Drift Race: a family and
interactive ride, patent pending, where passengers, 2 per each of the 6 cars, need
to drive and shoot at the same time, working in complicity with their companion.
To be more specific, one of the riders will drive the car and simulate drifting, while the other will
shoot at targets attached to the car in front, trying to score as many points as possible. A word
of caution: each vehicle is shooter and target at the same time! The driver will need to know how
to swerve the car enough so that the following shooter does not hit it, but at the same time drive
calmly enough to allow his/her companion to hit the target car in front. Only so can they score
higher and higher, and obtain the victory at the end of the race.
A product designed for everybody, Drift Race is suitable both for indoor and outdoor parks.
Thanks to Fun City Oasis for being the first to purchase this new ride,
That will be soon installed in one of various locations operated by this big leisure Group.

“FRANTIC”
NAMED ONE OF
THE MOST EXCITING
RIDES OF THE YEAR
TIME IS UP
Quassy Amusement & Waterpark in Middlebury, CT earned
some bragging rights this year. Their ride, FRANTIC, was named
one of the 19 most exciting new theme park rides of the year by
America Online (AOL ®). This spectacular family thrill ride made
its debut for the 2015 season and SBF-Visa is proud to bring
recocnition to their park with this ride.
FRANTIC accommodates
eight riders in a circular
configuration with the seats
suspended on a huge
pendulum. The seats spin as
the ride swings higher and
higher before doing a series
of 360-degree flips.
“We’re certainly pleased to
be listed among some of the
top new attractions in the
nation,” Quassy President Eric
Anderson said of the accolade.
“The announcement really
took us by surprise.”
Quassy purchased the attraction for its 2015 season after
exploring a variety of options to add to its arsenal of thrill rides.
Visa International of Italy, represented in the United States by
Rides-4-U of Somerville, N.J., was selected as the vendor for this
unique ride.
“There’s nothing else like it in New England,” Anderson added.
“FRANTIC has been extremely well-received by our guests,”
noted George Frantzis II, a park owner. “’Awesome! – that’s the
word I hear when guests relate to the ride experience.”
The majority of the new theme park rides making the AOL lists
are large roller coasters.

TO ANNOUNCE
NEW ATTRACTION
MIDDLEBURY, Conn. (USA)
Time is up come 3:45 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the
International Association of Amusement Parks and
Attractions (IAAPA) Expo in Orlando, Fla., when Quassy and
SBF/VISA Group announce a new major ride for the familyowned
park for the 2016 season.
Without letting the cat out of the bag, park officials have
kept under wraps what the new attraction will be the only
thing they have said is that the project has been in the
works for months and will be an exciting addition at the
lakeside property.
IAAPA has scheduled an
afternoon press conference
at the SBF/VISA booth on
the show floor at expo where
Quassy officials will be joined
by the supplier in making the
exciting announcement.
There has been much anticipation
at Quassy Amusement &
Waterpark here since a banner
went up this past summer stating:
“What’s Happening In 2016 At
Quassy? Only Time Will Tell.”

COMPACT MOONRAKER 20
A BRAND NEW SPINNING ATTRACTION
Following up the huge success of this ride in the past and thanks to the trust
of Alhokair Group, SBF Visa Group is proud to introduce a new version Of the
Moonraker ride.
Alhokair Group, key customer of SBF & Visa for many years, assigned it the
task to manufacture a Compact version of this ride, featuring 20 seats.
The Moonraker is a unique attraction in which riders sit on a big spinning
platform which rises into the air.
Main support is rotating as well as the gondola accommodating the
passengers; at a certain time, After some revolutions, gondola starts
lifting.
The inclination is almost 90° and the gondola can reach a high rotation
speed, while rotating Both clockwise and anticlockwise.
Safety first on this ride as well: Moonraker is equipped with a lap bar
with double safety mechanism, double safety sensors supervising bars
opening and a safety belt with pneumatic lock.
Designed for outdoor parks and, due to the compact footprint, also for indoor
entertainment centers.

Every company has its aces, in other words, the
attractions that are more successful than had
been originally anticipated. In the case of the
SBF-VISA Group, we have been very fortunate.
The deck seems to have been stacked in our
favor with many such aces. One of these most
certainly has been our ever popular Dance Party.
A major ride attraction, throughout its 15 year
history, has seen more than 150 units placed
into operation. The Dance Party maintains the
joy of thrill seekers from all around the globe.

lt all began in 1999, with a 40 seat gondola and
a footprint that measured nearly 17x14x11m.
This giant sized swing offered an exceptional
excitement to riders on a circular gondola
supported by a moving column. The force
transmitted by the two electromechanical drive
units causes the column to swing to an angle of
90°. The gondola rotates at 15 revolutions per
minute, while at the same time reaching 15m in
height.
The success of this very first unit has led to
the development of other versions. Many are
smaller in dimensions, but identical in their
ability to deliver a tremendous visual impact.
This allows exceptional thrill level to operators
regardless of their budget or available space.
From facilities large or small, we have been able
to provide a suitable model to amusements
parks, FEC’s, and travelling shows. Virtually
anyone who wants to take advantage of the
success of the Dance Party can find a suitable
model.
Today there are several versions of the Dance
Party. Each one aimed at the needs and budgets
of the potential buyers. We can manufacture
large or small, with indoor or outdoor operations.
For example: there is the Compact version
featuring 8 seats and a 120° or full 360° swing
rotation; the Midi version with 12 seats and a
120° or full 360° swing rotation; the extra large
version of the Dance Party with 24 seats, (a
whopping 33m in height) that features a 90°,
120°, or full 360° pendulum rotation. There is
also a 40 seat version with a 90° arm swing,
and a 24 seat model (19m & 27m) with a 90°
arm swing and a 32 seat model with a 120° arm
swing. Some models can be designed so that
the passengers face inward or outward.
These units can be trailer mounted for those
operators wishing to take the Dance Party on
the road.

200 TOWERS SOLD!
Now
considered a classis, the
Drop Tower is a spectacular ride that
has earned its reputation as a crowd favorite
at Amusement parks, FEC’s, and traveling
shows.
But not all venues are capable of installing
Drop Towers that soar 30 meters or more
skyward. It may be that space is limited,
budgets are tight, or such extreme attractions
just do not suit their guests. So, SBF/Visa
has developed a full range of Drop Towers to
meet those needs.
From 6 meter towers to those rising 70
meters or more there is a tower for nearly
every application and budget, making the
excitement of the Drop Tower available to all.
The designers at SBF/Visa have taken the
thrills of their towers to the next level with their
Drop ‘N Twist towers. These models feature a
rotating gondola that offer a spectacular 360
panoramic view throughout their ride. These
exciting towers may possibly be considered
two attractions in one – an observation tower
and a drop tower at the same time.

The milestone referred to in this statement

that has occurred in a short 15 year time
span. It does not stop there, as Drop
