Good afternoon everyone and welcome to Woodstock Park.
Our visitors are Chatham Town. It’s great to see them back in the Ryman South after
a couple of financially challenging seasons in the Ryman North. Something we
had to endure a few seasons back. Welcome to their Players, Officials and supporters.

We have already played Chatham once this season when we won a close fought
league cup match in the last few minutes with a goal from Hicham Akhazzan.
Like us, Chatham are finding things difficult. This is a really important game for both
teams. We continued our poor run on Tuesday night after losing a match (yet again)
by the odd goal. We played much better than of late and I felt we continued the improvement
we showed when playing Molesey. At least a point for us would have
been a fair result in both games. This is the first of three matches that are crucial to
us moving away from danger. After Chatham is an away match at South Park and
next Saturday we travel to Peacehaven & Telscombe for a real 6 pointer.

We are, as I am sure you know, in the Quarter Finals of the League cup. This tie
will be played here at Woodstock on Tuesday 5 th January and our opponents are
Tooting & Mitcham. The other quarter final ties are, Enfield Town V Wingate &
Finchley, Faversham Town V Dorking Wanderers and Leiston V Kingstonian. Interestingly
then four teams come from the Premier Division and four teams from Ryman
South. This match will replace our scheduled away tie against Walton & Hersham.
The match at Walton & Hersham will be played on Tuesday 12 th January.
Next match for us is on Wednesday at South Park. That is followed by the must win
match at Peacehaven and then another away match on Tuesday 22nd December
at Dorking Wanderers. Our next home match is on Monday 28 th December ( a Bank
Holiday). This is against Ramsgate and is a 3:00pm kick off.
