For the Mid-Week & Winter Package, Friday & Saturday’s and particular peak dates incur an additional £1000 surcharge. Ceremony 

Room Hire is an additional charge of £600 for all packages. There will be an additional administration fee due directly to either the Chapel 

Administrator or Registrar depending on your type of Ceremony.

the exception of dietary requirements. Two choices per course can be offered for an additional £10 per person, (maximum numbers may 

apply). Pre-orders are required no later than 1 month prior to your wedding.

hot chocolate with a splash of Amaretto – we’ll ensure your guests enjoy outstanding drinks and service all day long.

Prices start from £6.00 per serving. 

Indulge in a Hot Chocolate Stall for your festive Wedding for £4.50 per person. Why not add a shot of Baileys or 

Amaretto to make it boozy for an additional £3.50 per person. 

Always hungry at the end of the evening? Why not offer your guests Bacon Sandwiches at Midnight for £8.00 per 

person and add some Chips or Potato Wedges for an additional £1.50 per person. 

Tubs of Ice Cream would be a lovely treat for your guests during the Drinks Reception or Evening Reception 

from £3.50 per serving.

We also offer bridal hair and beauty treatments through our Spa or Reef Salon. Let one of our therapists develop 

a personal skin plan and bridal makeup to ensure you’re radiantly glowing on your special day.

Extend your Wedding Day celebrations by incorporating a Private Dinner or Lunch the night prior or day after 

your Wedding.

Wedding Accommodation 

After dancing the night away with friends and family it’s time to lose yourself in the crisp linen of your king sized 

bed and unwind in the serenity of your surroundings. Extend your experience with an overnight stay in luxury 

accommodation for you and your guests. 

Your guests will receive special bed and breakfast rates on the night of, or the night before your Wedding.

£60 deposit is required to confirm each bedroom or £180 is required to confirm a cottage, remaining payment is due upon check out. Please 

be aware bedrooms cannot be held provisionally without a deposit payment. 

All bedrooms are sold on a first come first served basis for guests and we do recommend that any bedrooms that are required are booked as 

soon as possible to avoid disappointment. 

Please be aware, check in is at 3.00 pm and check out is 11.00 am the following day. 


The Grand Marquee 

With exceptional panoramic views of Italian landscaped gardens, our incredible 650-seat 

Grand Marquee is an outstanding reception venue – ideal for large weddings. 

Situated next to the Walled Garden within the stunning grounds of Wynyard Hall, it provides 

a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photography. 

Offering the very latest in modern facilities, this versatile space can be transformed according to your 

requirements. Consider it a blank canvas – perfect for creating a completely personalised experience. 

You are welcome to use external caterers, (where Wynyard Hall can not provide authentic cultural cuisine) and 

hire includes use of our high spec kitchens. We also provide crockery and linen, along with uplighting, a dance 

floor and stage. 

Our Grand Marquee creates an inviting setting with a personal touch of endless charm. 

Prices available upon request. 

Please note: The Grand Marquee is a separate venue with no immediate access to the Hall.

Wedding FAQ 

The Ceremony – Chapel Ceremonies can only be confirmed by the Parish. Once you make a provisional 

booking with Wynyard Hall, your details will be forwarded to the Parish for consideration. Please be aware that 

if you do not have a connection to the Parish, attendances will need to be completed prior to the Ceremony. The 

Parish Administrator (Katherine Young) can be contacted for any further information on 01740 630 242. 

Civil Ceremonies within our function rooms are to be booked through Stockton Registry Office (01642 527 720). 

The Provisional Booking – Once you have found a date you wish to hold with us, we will provisionally hold 

this date for up to 14 days. After this time, we will require a deposit payment of 20% of the expected cost of the 

Wedding to secure the date. If we have not heard from you after the 14 day period, your provisional booking 

will be removed. Please be aware for Chapel Ceremonies, we do require confirmation from the Chapel prior to 

accepting your deposit. This can take up to 8 weeks therefore your date will be held during this period. 

The Confirmation Meeting & Deposit – A meeting will take place to run through any final queries prior to 

confirmation and your deposit can then be paid. 

The Meeting Deadlines – You will have your initial planning meeting 6 months prior to the Wedding. A final 

meeting will then commence 1 month prior to the Wedding when final numbers and table plans will be required. 

The Payment Terms – 50% payment will be due 6 months prior to the Wedding based on approximate guest 

numbers at the time. The remaining payment is due no later than 1 month prior to the Wedding, once final guest 

numbers have been attained. 


Approximate Timings – We recommend the below timings however as we only hold one Wedding a day within 

the Hall, these timings can be altered:- 

1.00 pm Chapel Ceremony or 1.30 pm Civil Ceremony 

2.00 pm – 3.30 pm – Drinks Reception 

3.30 pm – Receiving Line (optional) 

4.00 pm – Wedding Breakfast 

6.00 pm – Speeches (these can take place prior to the Wedding Breakfast) 

6.30 pm – Room Turnaround 

7.30 pm – Evening Reception 

8.00 pm – Cake Cutting & First Dance 

1.00 am – Bar Close & Entertainment to conclude 

Residents Bar available until Duty Manager’s discretion 

What we do not allow – Unfortunately due to the logistics within the Hall and the surrounding area we do not 

allow Fireworks, Chinese Lanterns, Chocolate Fountains and all candles must be enclosed. We also do not allow 

corkage or outside catering within the Hall.
