STEERING MEETING
CONTACT US
Welcome to New Friends
In every meeting we welcome new
members to our group, always with mixed
emotions. We are glad they found us, but
we are sorry for the circumstances that
bring us together. We understand their
pain and we hope our unconditional
friendship and understanding will help
them through their grief. Attending a
meeting for the first two or three times
takes courage, but for many, it is the first
step toward healing. The meetings may
seem overwhelming, so we encourage you
to come to several meetings to give yourself
a chance to become more comfortable.
TCF Guam’s
Fourth Annual
Worldwide
Candle
Lighting
Ceremony
W
e are truly appreciative of all those
who came out and continue to
come out every year to light a candle
in memory of our children who have passed.
This year, we saw an incredible showing of support.
We are so happy that you came to join us
for our fourth year of this meaningful event.
These past few years have been truly special.
We have met many parents who are coping with
the loss of a loved one. Together we have
shared our grief but we also shared in the joys
of being together. As we head into our fifth
year, we hope you will come out to our Fifth
Annual Candle Lighting Ceremony as we reflect
on the memories of our children together.
197
BEARS!
With your generous support, we received 197
bears during our annual Bear Drive!
These 197 bears will go to comfort 197 children
during un-bear-able times. These bears were presented
to the Guam Fire Department on December
17, 2015.
The Guam Fire Department also took the time to
receive some of the bears during our annual Candle
Lighting Ceremony.
