REVIEW
TAKE A FEW MINUTES AS THE SESSION BEGINS TO REVIEW YOUR EXPERIENCE
WITH THE 21-DAY CHALLENGE SO FAR.
What was most significant in
your experience of the 21-day
Challenge so far?
WEEK 2: FAITH
We all have strong muscles and weak muscles.
If you’re a runner, you probably have strong hamstrings
and quadriceps. If you swim you’ve probably
developed the bicep, tricep, and deltoid muscles in
your shoulders and arms. If you’re into Xbox, you
probably have very strong thumbs!
The same is true for us spiritually. It’s easy to spend
time studying about God, talking about God, or
thinking about God. It’s easy to have knowledge
of Him and even believe in Him. But for many, the
faith muscle is pretty weak. There’s a big difference
between living your life knowing about God and
entrusting your life to God.
So we started this 21-day Challenge by focusing on
what it means to have faith—from sharing our worries
with God in prayer to considering how he might
“shepherd” and care for us. Maybe you experienced
a real spiritual breakthrough this week. Maybe you’re
still not sure you’re ready to trust God. Wherever
you are in your journey, this week’s discussion, the
insights from others in your group, and the video
teaching are important opportunities to strengthen
your faith muscle.
What have you enjoyed most
about the challenge so far?
What has stretched you most
about the challenge so far?
What was it like beginning
and ending your day by more
intentionally connecting with
God? How has this affected
your life?
