Location<br />

commercial, educational, sporting and the cultural focus for the<br />

South West of Wales.<br />

South of the site lies Wind Street which offers a wide variety of<br />

bars and restaurants such as Walkabout, Revolutions Swansea,<br />

Las Iguanas and ASK Italian. Swansea castle and the new<br />

‘Castle Quarter’ mixed-development consisting of apartments<br />

and retail units, are also within close proximity. Parc Tawe<br />

Retail Park is located north of the site with a number of retail<br />

and leisure facilities such as Tenpin Bowling, Odeon Cinema<br />

and Plantasia Tropical Glasshouse.<br />

Swansea is home to two major Higher Education Institutions;<br />

Swansea University and the University of Wales Trinity Saint<br />

David (UWTSD). This site represents an attractive opportunity<br />

for student operators.<br />

Swansea University has worked in collaboration with First<br />

Cymru Bus Services to ensure students from all campuses<br />

have immediate access to the city centre. Buses run every<br />

8 minutes during peak times and until 2am on Wednesday,<br />

Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights.<br />
