Single Point of Contact (SPOC)<br />

<strong>transtec360</strong> support agreements are completely<br />

modular in design and are customized according<br />

to your needs. Services such as the service desk,<br />

response times, preventive maintenance and many<br />

Virtual workplace<br />

Servers no longer have to be located in an organization‘s data center. Virtual<br />

servers in a data center and terminal server or VDI technologies support<br />

extremely flexible access with various end devices. Besides office workplaces,<br />

power-hungry development workplaces can also be deployed more efficiently<br />

Cloud data storage and mail server<br />

Today it is no longer viable in many cases to pursue the local management<br />

Topcon Corporation was founded in 1932 by specializing in the production of<br />

optical instruments. The company has expanded over the decades into a globally<br />

active multinational business group with subsidiaries in Asia, America and<br />

Europe. Our Dutch subsidiary ttec delivers tailor-made MDD-certified PCs for<br />

optical coherence tomography (OCT) systems made by Topcon. Topcon profits<br />

enormously from ttec’s broad service portfolio and holds a unique position on<br />

the market with its MDD-certified PC systems.<br />

iunxi B.V., Almere (Netherlands)<br />

iunxi is active since 2005 in the field of ICT infrastructures, management and<br />

consultancy. The four founders are techies at heart and still actively involved in<br />

the company. The project is based on the open source software Ceph. ttec delivered<br />

the hypervisor server systems and the storage backend server systems.<br />

The interconnect between the hypervisor nodes is based on 10Gb Ethernet<br />

while the interconnect between the storage nodes is done with the Mellanox<br />

VPI adapter cards based on FDR infiniband or 40Gb Ethernet. The goal for Iunxi<br />

is to create a scalable and easy to manage system for both hypervisor and storage.<br />

The building blocks for this solution are energy- and cost-effective.<br />

Deltares is an independent institute for applied research with a focus on deltas,<br />

coastal regions and river basins. Throughout the world, they work on innovative<br />

solutions for people, environment and society. On a constant basis, calculations<br />

are being done and data is generated which poses exceptional requirements<br />

on High Performance Computing, Storage and Virtualization. Together with<br />

Deltares we developed a smart system design and created two new building<br />

Intermax, Rotterdam<br />

Intermax (est. 1994) is a well-known and respected Dutch internet service provider,<br />

offering cloud and managed hosting solutions to a variety of customers.<br />

Their mission statement is to help and assist organizations in the use of internet<br />

and ICT infrastructure, by providing them with advanced managed hosting. For<br />

a specific customer environment, Intermax was looking for an easy-to-manage<br />

storage solution with the possibility to serve high IOPS with low latency. There<br />

turned out to be only one solution that fitted all of the specific requirements<br />

Intermax had: Nimble Storage. It only took a proof-of-concept of 2 weeks to<br />

convince Intermax of the converged storage capabilities the Nimble system has<br />

to offer. Among other things they praised the easy setup of the system and the<br />

performance figures, which were unprecedented till now.<br />
