OLd TOWN BISTRO; SILvERdALE, WA
Old Town Bistro noted for Best
Entertainment in Central Kitsap
The community has spoken: the
Old Town Bistro is the best place for
Live Music and Dancing in Central
Kitsap! For the third year in a row,
the Old Town Bistro has received recognition
in the “Best of Central Kitsap
Awards” coordinated and facilitated
by the Central Kitsap Reporter Newspaper.
For 2009, the Old Town Bistro
boasts five nominations and three first
place awards; winning Best Place to
Dance, Best Live Music, and resident
DJ Z voted Best DJ. In addition to full
restaurant service with menus crafted
by Chef Tomas, the Old Town Bistro
features a variety of entertainment
from live jazz to acoustic guitar, plus
karaoke and dancing all night long.
Hosted by DJ Z, karaoke at
the Old Town Bistro is a “full-performance”
venue. With up to three
wireless microphones and the lyrics
displayed on all three big screen TVs,
singers can move freely about the club;
performing from wherever they are
the most comfortable – or where they
have their own target audience.
Old Town Bistro’s General Manager
(and self-proclaimed karaoke
diva), Stephanie Nevarez says, “It’s
my favorite night of the week. I like
to find the shyest person in the room
and go sing to them; maybe make
‘em blush a little, and get everyone
involved. It’s really fun. Not to mention,
it’s great for birthdays and other
dedication occasions!”
As a host and emcee, there is
none better than DJ Z – interacting
with the audience and making everyone
feel welcome and encouraged
to join the fun. Joking and personable,
he keeps the energy up and the
atmosphere stylish with choice cuts
of Top 40, R&B, Dance music, and
some flashback flair to the 70’s and
80’s. With a collection of over 30,000
karaoke songs, there is a tune for
every singer; and if you don’t see it in
the book, just ask Z, he probably has it
via software. Whether you like classic
show tunes, 80’s rock, 90’s rap, current
pop, or anything in between, karaoke
at the Bistro is to the place to sing
every Thursday starting at 9pm.
You can also join DJ Z for Flashback
Fridays, rotating theme nights
featuring music from the 70’s, 80’s
and 90’s! Check the event calendar
at www.oldtown-bistro.com for full
details. Dress in theme and get free
cover until 11pm!
