Have fun swapping seeds, stories, and

gardening tips at our community seed

swap. Bring seeds to trade or give.

Children can make a nature craft.

Pick up envelopes for your seeds and

seed swap instructions at St. James-

Assiniboia Library before the day of

the swap. Or, bring your seeds in your

own container and follow the seed swap

instructions. The instructions are also

Edible Landscaping

Integrating edible plants into yards and

the urban landscape is a great way to

reduce our ecological footprint. In this

workshop, Urban Eatin’ will discuss the

basics of planning for a new vegetable

garden and raised beds, and suggest ways

to use edible plants to create shade or a

privacy screen.
