This is a general-purpose abrasive for use on non ferrous metals such as aluminium or brass and

on ferrous metals where glazing of zirconium discs is a problem. These discs will quickly remove

material & leave a slightly finer finish than a zirconium disc of the same grit. Aluminium oxide discs

produce a finish equivalent to a resin fibre disc all in one step.
