All Briggs & Stratton engines fitted to Atco lawnmowers have Overhead Valve Technology. OHV engines 

provide optimal performance in terms of power efficiency. By combining Overhead Valve Technology 

with world class machining and manufacturing processes gained over 100 years, results in a highly 

efficient engine delivering optimal power with lower emissions per cc. 

As the world's largest engine manufacturer, Honda, established in 1948, has wide experience in 

developing and producing engines and is recognised internationally for its expertise in making 

outstanding engines. 

All of the Honda engines we use have OverHead Camshafts (OHC) that enhance combustion efficiency, 

help to reduce fuel and oil consumption, ensure excellent thermal balance and extend the durability, 

reliability and service life of the engine. They also all feature the intelligent Auto Choke System (ACS) 

that automatically sets the choke to give optimum starting and running in all cutting conditions. 

The Kawasaki Heavy Industries Group began over 100 years ago and the Kawasaki Engine Division was 

established in 1957. Kawasaki have an outstanding reputation for producing durable petrol engines that 

deliver exceptional performance. Despite their consistently strong power delivery, Kawasaki state-of-theart 

engine technology still achieves reduced fuel consumption and industry-leading emissions levels.

Ride-on 

Lawnmowers 

All Atco collecting riders and lawn tractors 

feature a “3 in 1” cutting system. This 

consists of a mid-mounted cutter deck fitted 

with either a single blade or twin blades 

depending on the width of cut. 

Grass clippings can either be discharged 

into a rear mounted collector ready for 

disposal or using a deflector kit simply 

discharged onto the ground behind the 

machine. Alternatively you can save time as 

well as fertilising your lawn by recycling the 

clippings using an optional mulching kit. 

If you never want to collect your grass we 

also have dedicated mulching machines. 

Atco lawn riders are extremely easy to 

use; these compact machines are a great 

alternative to walk behind mowers 

for smaller gardens. 

For larger gardens of around an acre or more 

an Atco lawn tractor will help you maintain 

your lawns with ease. But our tractors can 

do much more than cut grass – we have a

The Atco Rider 27 is an extremely easy to use compact ride-on mower. 

Highly manoeuvrable, with a comfortable raised seating position with 

excellent forward visibility, it can cope with the smallest and most 

intricate areas of lawn. This great value Rider makes a real alternative 

to a large walk behind lawnmower, and makes maintaining your lawn 

a real pleasure. 

Powered by Briggs & Stratton OHV electric start engines this rider 

has plenty of power and can tackle an unruly lawn with ease. The Rider 

27M is powered by a 190cc engine and has a manual gearbox with 4 

forward gears and reverse. The Rider 27H has a 223cc engine with a fully 

hydrostatic transmission. The hydrostatic system gives infinitely variable 

forward and reverse speeds using a foot pedal and can shuttle effortlessly 

between the two. 

A rear mounted collector holds 150 litres of clippings. Cutting height is 

adjusted by a lever giving 6 positions from 30mm to 80mm. The cutter 

blade is engaged using a lever adjacent to the steering wheel. 

An optional mulching kit, tow hitch and deflector are available for

RIDERS 

A premium machine in both quality and specification the Atco Rider 

28H has the power of a garden tractor but in combination with a more 

compact, manoeuvrable chassis. 

Many owners prefer the rear engine layout of this rider as it offers 

unrivalled forward visibility giving the driver confidence when working 

in areas where a tractor would be too big. 

But the compact dimensions don’t hinder performance; the Rider 28H 

gives a superb finish on fine lawns and will also tame the more unruly one. 

Powered by a Briggs & Stratton 344cc engine, with a history of proven 

reliability, this rider has a fully hydrostatic transmission so you can 

change from forward to reverse without using a clutch. Use the control 

lever to regulate your ground speed with infinitely variable precision. 

Clippings are blown into a 170 litre rear mounted collector which can 

be emptied from the driving seat. 

Cutting height is adjustable from 30mm to 80mm through 7 positions.

38” side discharge mulching tractor. The fully hydrostatic transmission 

provides infinitely variable forward and reverse ground speed control 

via a foot pedal. Blades are engaged or disengaged at the flick of a switch 

through an electronic clutch. Cutting height is adjustable from 25mm to 

80mm. A snap on hose connection on the cutter deck facilitates cleaning 

after use. 

Used on a regular basis mulching is a highly efficient method of recycling 

clippings and is increasingly popular as it does away with the need to 

compost the grass. Mulching leaves a fine finish; the mulched clippings 

are barely visible as they are blown deep into the turf and return valuable 

nutrients such as nitrogen back into the soil promoting healthier growth.

GARDEN TRACTORS 

The GT43 HR extends the Atco range of side discharge mulching 

tractors and is a great alternative if you don’t want to collect your grass 

cuttings and require a larger cutting area. Powered by a Briggs & Stratton 

4165 AVS 500cc engine and benefiting from a hydrostatic transmission 

system that gives infinitely variable forward and reverse speeds simply 

using a foot pedal. Blades are engaged or disengaged at the flick of a 

switch through an electronic blade clutch. Cutting height is adjustable 

from 25mm to 80mm. A snap on hose connection on the cutter deck 

facilitates cleaning after use.

36" gate yet large enough to maintain a good sized lawn. The reliable 

Briggs & Stratton 344cc engine delivers power to a fully hydrostatic 

transmission ; a clutchless automatic system that allows infinitely variable 

forward and reverse speeds using a foot pedal and can shuttle seamlessly 

between the two greatly enhancing manoeuvrability. 

The cutting deck features twin contra rotating blades for a fine finish plus 

powerful rear discharge and collection of clippings. Blades are engaged 

or disengaged at the flick of a switch through an electronic blade clutch.

The Atco GT 38H shares the same chassis as the GT 30H and is powered 

by a Briggs & Stratton 4165 AVS engine. The tractor features a 98 cm twin 

blade cutter deck with anti-scalp wheels that provides an excellent finish 

and powerful rear discharge of cut grass into the 240 litre collector box. 

A buzzer sounds to let the driver know that the collector is full and needs 

emptying – it can be emptied without leaving the driver’s seat. Blades are 

engaged and disengaged at the flick of a switch through an electronic 

clutch. Cutting height is adjustable from 25mm to 80mm. 

A snap on hose connection on the cutter deck facilitates cleaning after use. 

A fully hydrostatic transmission system makes this tractor a real pleasure 

to use with forward and reverse speed controlled simply through the use

Atco GT 36 models share the same chassis but offer a choice of engines. 

The GT 36H has a 500cc Briggs & Stratton single cylinder engine, 

whilst the GT 36HK Twin is powered by a 603cc Kawasaki twin 

cylinder engine. 

Both models benefit from fully hydrostatic transmissions. 

The hydrostatic system gives infinitely variable forward and reverse 

speeds using a foot pedal and can shuttle effortlessly between the two. 

Both models have the same 92cm (36") cutting deck with twin contrarotating 

blades. This cutting arrangement gives an excellent finish 

and powerful rear discharge of cut grass into the collector. Blades 

are engaged and disengaged at the flick of a switch through an 

electronic clutch. 

Clippings are blown into a large 260 litre (GT 36H) or 290 litre (GT

The GT 40H Twin is fitted with a Briggs & Stratton twin cylinder Intek 

7220 V-Twin engine, providing ample power and smooth quiet running. 

This tractor features a twin blade “timed” cutter deck. The blades contra 

rotate and overlap each other, this provides an excellent finish even with 

such a wide cut. This arrangement also creates a very powerful collection 

system. Clippings are blown through the rear discharge outlet into a 300 

litre capacity collector which also features a buzzer to alert the driver 

when it is full. 

The blades are turned on and off at the flick of a switch through an 

electronic clutch. Cleaning the cutter deck after use is straightforward 

thanks to a snap on hose fitting on top of the casing. 

A fully hydrostatic transmission system makes this tractor a real pleasure 

to use, especially if you need to manoeuvre around trees, garden 

furniture or other obstacles.

The GT 48H Twin is the flagship model in the Atco tractor range. With 

a 656cc Briggs & Stratton twin cylinder Intek 7220 V-Twin engine this 

tractor has plenty of smooth power available. 

This top of the range machine features a twin blade “timed” cutter deck 

with contra-rotating blades for a superb finish. The cutting deck is easily 

cleaned with the deck wash facility. Collecting performance is second 

to none and there is a large 320 litre collector with buzzer to alert the 

driver when it is ready for emptying. 

Naturally a machine of this calibre comes with hydrostatic drive for easy 

handling around trees, flowerbeds and other obstacles. Combined with 

the responsive chassis and refined power this is a tractor that is a real 

pleasure to use. 

If you have large areas of grass to maintain then the GT 48H Twin 

makes an excellent choice. 

A front bumper, towing hitch and mulching kit are included. Optional 

additional accessories include a long grass deflector.

Ride on Accessories 

An Atco lawn tractor can do far more than just cut grass, with our comprehensive range of accessories it can really enhance 

its value and help you with various tasks around the garden. 

Cart 

This cart is an invaluable tool when you are dealing with all those heavy chores in your garden. 

It has a 10 cubic feet capacity steel body which tips for easy unloading. It hitches onto the tractor 

using a standard towbar fitting. 

Galvanised Cart 

A galvanized steel body with removable rear tailgate makes this pro-cart a useful garden tool. 

It has large wheels with lawn tread tyres and a good tipping angle for easy unloading. 

Combi Cart 

An extremely versatile tool in any garden this cart can also be used as a wheelbarrow. With a 

hardwearing polypropylene body which can be hitched for unloading it has a standard hitch 

connection for attachment to your tractor. 

Broadcast Spreader 

Ideal for applying fertiliser over larger areas this broadcast spreader has a hardwearing polypropylene 

hopper. The spinning disc action provides a 10’–12’ spread pattern. Material flow can easily be regulated 

to suit individual working conditions. 

Aerator Spreader 

Keep your lawn in peak condition with this accessory. Hardened steel tines penetrate the soil allowing 

air, nutrients and moisture to reach the grass roots. Sand, seed or fertiliser can also be applied at the 

same time. 

Ballast Roller 

If you like a classic striped finish on your lawn you need this roller. The weight can easily be adjusted 

to suit individual conditions by using sand or water ballast. This roller will give you professional stripes 

with very little effort. 

Snow Blade 

The versatility of your Atco tractor can be further enhanced with the use of this snow blade. This robust 

metal blade is easy to mount on the front of your tractor to clear paths and driveways of snow. 

Snow chains are also available and recommended for use with this attachment.

Walk Behind 

Lawnmowers 

It can be daunting trying to choose a new 

lawnmower. One of the most important 

considerations to bear in mind is the 

size of your lawn. 

Mains electric mowers are lightweight, easy 

to use and ideally suited to smaller lawns of 

around half a tennis court in size. 

Petrol engine mowers or our new 80 Volt 

cordless mowers are a better choice for 

larger areas; they are more powerful and 

not restricted by a power cable. Atco use 

advanced Briggs & Stratton and Honda 

engines that are all easy to start; on some 

models you simply have to turn a key. Our 

80 Volt cordless models have advanced 

DigiTorq digital brushless motors and high 

performance lithium-ion batteries, delivering 

petrol equivalent power incredibly 

quietly and efficiently. 

Atco Quattro mowers have 4 wheels; they 

are highly manoeuvrable and give an 

excellent finish on all types of lawn. If you 

want a classic striped finish choose a Liner 

machine with a rear roller or for the finest 

cut of all a Clipper cylinder mower will cut 

your grass with scissor like precision. 

Other things to consider are the chassis 

which can be made of polypropylene, 

pressed steel, aluminium or hybrid steel/ 

aluminium, and the type of drive. Hand 

propelled machines have to be pushed to 

make them move forward whereas a self 

propelled one will move forward on its own 

when the drive lever is engaged. 

Finally, do you want to collect your grass 

clippings or recycle them? A mulching kit 

will eliminate collection, fertilise your lawn 

and save up to 30% of the time taken to cut 

your grass with a collecting mower.

lawnmowers are designed to maintain your lawn to the highest standard 

and are packed with features to make using them as 

efficient and pleasurable an experience as possible.

WALK BEHIND LAWNMOWERS 

Powered by 148cc Briggs & Stratton 4-stroke engines, these 40cm (15 

inch) cutting width mowers are ideal for small to medium sized lawns. 

Compact machines with tough, rust free, lightweight polypropylene 

chassis they are particularly easy to handle and a pleasure to use. 

Adjusting the height of cut is a quick and simple task using the single 

lever height of cut adjuster – with 5 pre-set cutting positions from 25 

to 75mm. 

The collector holds 45 litres of grass and is easy to empty, even when 

full, thanks to its ergonomic design. These machines can also be used 

without the collector in place if you don’t want to collect your grass. 

If your lawn has slopes, or you just wish to maintain your grass with 

minimal effort, we recommend the self propelled Quattro 15S.

Quattro 

These stylish new mowers are packed full of premium features often 

found only on far more expensive models. Choose between self propelled 

with Briggs & Stratton or Honda engines, or a self propelled electric start 

model with the new InStart push button start for maximum ease of use. 

With premium engines and large diameter rear wheels for easy handling, 

these 48cm (19 inch) cutting width mowers are a pleasure to use. 

Cutting height is easy to adjust within the 26–72mm range using an 

ergonomic single lever. The finest cut is achieved with the help of a front 

skid plate designed to minimise scalping and improve the cut. The extra 

deep deck is also designed to maximise airflow for optimum cutting and 

collection performance. A bag full indicator shows when the large 70 

litre collector needs emptying. 

Cleaning after use is facilitated using a hose connection fitted to the

We are proud to launch these premium roller rotary lawnmowers with a 

choice of 48 or 53cm (19 or 21 inch) cutting widths. All are fitted with 

innovative new cutting technology – a patented Twinclip blade with four 

cutting surfaces instead of two that makes tackling the grass an effortless 

task while leaving a finish that is comparable to a cylinder mower. 

The first cutting edge of the Twinclip blade reduces the initial length of 

the grass with the second cutting edge reducing the finished length down 

to the desired height. The extra finely cut clippings are then blown into 

the 75 litre collector resulting in a noticeable increase in extra mowing 

capacity. 

Fitted with a choice of powerful engines; the Briggs & Stratton 675EXI 

(LL) ReadyStart® on the Liner 19S V; the advanced Briggs & Stratton 

675IS InStart push button electric start on the Liner 19SE V and the 

highly regarded Honda GCV190 Autochoke on the Liner 22SH V. 

The large diameter steel rear roller is driven by a heavy duty Hi-Torque 

cone clutch transmission with a torque convertor which combines light 

and easy operation with smooth acceleration through an infinite range of 

cutting speeds from 3kmph to 4.4.kmph. Height of cut is adjusted using a 

single lever and there are 8 pre-set cutting heights from 13mm to 65mm. 

Each mower has a unique hybrid chassis with the durability of a galvanised 

and powder coated deep drawn steel cutting chamber with a J section lip 

inspired by Atco’s robust ride on mower decks and the rigidity of a cast 

aluminium conveyor at the rear of the machine incorporating the lower 

handlebar mountings. The conveyor is the perfect shape to maximise air 

flow which is further enhanced by fins moulded into the polypropylene 

anti scalp plate at the front of the mower. 

Cleaning after use is facilitated using a hose connection fitted to the 

chassis. The robust handles are quickly and easily adjusted to a choice of 3 

different positions, making it easy to find the most comfortable operating 

position. When not in use, the handlebars can also fold the all the way 

over the engine reducing the amount of space required for storage. 

These premium roller mowers produce an outstanding striped finish and

For the finest of lawns you need the finest of mowers and nothing beats 

the finish achieved by a traditional cylinder mower. There are three 

outstanding models in this sector of the Atco range. 

At the heart of these machines is the cutting cylinder. Our Clipper 16 

and Clipper 20 both have cylinders with 6 steel blades which produce 

almost 113 cuts per metre. With 10 blades the Clipper 20 Club cylinder 

achieves 188 cuts per metre and is suitable for light commercial as well 

as domestic use. 

All three models are fitted with recoil start Briggs & Stratton 4-stroke 

engines, have power drive and a centrifugal clutch with variable forward 

speed controlled by the engine throttle. 

Cutting heights range from 7mm to 30mm on the Clipper 16 and
