Philip Lundkvist, Miguel Royo and Team Manager Laura Arias Also, It was such an honor and surprise for DI
Coordinator, Renee Foster to be recognized and to be the recipient of one of the highest awards in DI - the
"Above and Beyond" award. The Above and Beyond award recognizes an individual or group that stands out
in a crowd of volunteers and young people. The recipient of this annual award represents the ultimate spirt of
creative problem solving by always sharing ideas, generating options, formulating solutions and getting things
done. Colombia DI proudly presented this award to that person or group that truly made a difference in the
program this year.
As a result of these tremendous efforts and accolades accomplished by all, Team Fantastic Four are now eligible
to participate in DI Global Finals, the world’s largest celebration of creativity. Global finals is the culminating
event for the DI season were more than 1300 teams from 45 US states, 7 Canadian provinces and 13+
countries send teams to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville to showcase the solution to their central
challenge. This event brings together more
than 16,000 people for creativity and fun!
Each team also looks forward to presenting
their solutions to the ISP community during
the ArtsFest in May.
