Shopping<br />

We take Monthly Shopping Trips. This<br />

gives our Center members a chance to<br />

purchase groceries, pick up prescriptions<br />

and do a little personal shopping. Check<br />

monthly activity calendar for date & time.<br />

Bowling<br />

Our seniors make a trip to the local Bowling<br />

Alley twice a month. We love competing<br />

with each other to see who is going<br />

to be the top bowler.<br />

Special Events<br />

National Volunteer Week<br />

April 10 th – 16th<br />

We will honor our volunteers for their<br />

hard work and dedication.<br />

Christmas in Lexington County<br />

Saturday April 23 rd<br />

This day is set aside to help low income<br />

seniors with MINOR repairs to home or<br />

yards. Must own their homes with family<br />

not available to perform repairs.<br />

Senior Appreciation Day Picnic<br />

Friday May 6 th 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.<br />

Camp Kinard<br />

Our annual cookout to honor our entire<br />

senior centers’ participants. Fun, games<br />

and a great lunch for all.<br />

Senior Prom<br />

Friday May 13 th , 5:00 p.m – 9:00 p.m<br />

We had so much fun last year we are doing<br />

it again. Come dressed to impress.<br />

Enjoy An Evening to Remember. We will<br />

have food, music and dance. This event is<br />

free to all Senior Center members in Lexington<br />

County and they can bring one<br />

guest. For non-members there will be a<br />

slight charge of $7.00 per person.<br />
