The registration fees includes the following:<br />

• a race bib<br />

• assistance and refreshments along the race<br />

route<br />

• race pack<br />

• transfer to the start (from Umag)<br />

• a food voucher on arrival<br />

• a finisher’s medal<br />

Payment procedures<br />

Registration fees can be paid by PayPal or by<br />

bank transfer.<br />

Fixed number<br />

The maximum number is 1350 registered athletes<br />

(500 – 100 mi / 400 – 110 km / 300 – 69 km / 150<br />

– 42 km). There is no limit at 5k race.<br />

Cancellation<br />

If the competitor wishes to cancel his registration,<br />

cancellation must be notified by e-mail to race@<br />

istria100.com.<br />

Procedure of reimbursement:<br />

• cancellation within March15th 2016: 50% of<br />

reimbursement<br />

• cancellation after March 15th 2016: no<br />

reimbursement<br />

Reimbursements will be made before the May 1st<br />

2016.<br />

Race BIB exchange is not allowed. Registration<br />

fee can NOT be used for the following race year<br />

(2017), and it’s not transferrable to another<br />

person.<br />

Should the race be cancelled because of<br />

circumstances beyond our control up to 15<br />

days before the race, the Organization reserves<br />

the right to refund 50% of the admission fee.<br />

This percentage is calculated to enable the<br />

Organization to cover part of the expenses<br />

incurred.<br />

this situation, suffered after registration and<br />

not completely curable by the day of the race,<br />

the organisation recommends that the injured<br />

runner does not take an unnecessary risk, and<br />

cancels his registration for the current year at the<br />

same time making a request to participate in a<br />

future race.<br />

Any request for postponement must reach us,<br />

accompanied with a complete medical report<br />

(detailed medical report and x-ray results<br />

confirming the diagnosis) by April 20th 2016 at<br />

the latest. Any incomplete report will be rejected.<br />

Requests will be processed by June 1st at latest.<br />

The only medical counsel will judge the case and<br />

their decision is final.<br />

If the Medial Counsel’s opinion is favourable, the<br />

runner will benefit from priority registration for<br />

the same race in the future.<br />

7. EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS<br />

It is obligatory for the athletes to have the<br />

following equipment with them, for the full<br />

duration of the race:<br />

• camel bag or bottles that contain at least<br />

one litre of liquid;<br />

• race bib visible for the full duration of the<br />

race;<br />

• survival blanket/heatsheet;<br />

• whistle;<br />

• head lamp with spare batteries;<br />

• drinking cup or water bottle (no drinking<br />

cups shall be available at the refreshment<br />

areas);<br />

• road-book (given by the organiser);<br />

• mobile phone turned ON but kept in silent<br />

mode;<br />

• basic first aid kit (plasters, few sterile gauze<br />

dressings, bandage)<br />

The obligatory material may be worn or placed<br />

inside the backpack.<br />

The obligatory material shall be checked when<br />

the athlete collects the race bibs. Random checks<br />

shall be made along the race route.<br />

It is strongly recommended to carry the following<br />

material:<br />

• wind cheater (anorak) suitable for bad<br />

weather in high mountain areas;<br />

• long sleeved top<br />

• cap, hat or bandana<br />

• gloves<br />

• energy bars or solid food;<br />

• a small amount of money for the possible<br />

purchase of food in the mountain shelters<br />

and/or at the shops in the villages;<br />

• elastic bandages.<br />

The use of poles is permitted but if competitor<br />

choose to use it, it must be worn throughout the<br />

entire race.<br />

8 <strong>RACE</strong> BIBS<br />

Every BIB is individually handed to each runner<br />

on production of:<br />

• a photographic identity,<br />

• your race pack and all your obligatory<br />

equipment<br />

The race BIB must be worn on the chest or the<br />

stomach and must be permanently and fully<br />

visible throughout the entire race. It must,<br />

therefore, always be positioned over any clothing.<br />

The name and logo of the sponsors must neither<br />

be modified, nor hidden.<br />

The race number is the pass necessary to get to<br />

the shuttles, buses, refreshment posts, nurses,<br />

rest areas, showers, areas for depositing or<br />

recuperating spares bags…Except in the case of<br />

refusal to comply with a decision taken by a race<br />

official, the race bib is never withdrawn, but in<br />

the case of retirement, it is deactivated.<br />

Should the race be cancelled or interrupted for<br />

atmospheric reasons, or for any other reason<br />

beyond our control, no refund of the registration<br />

fee will be made.<br />

Cancellation of a registration in the case of injury<br />

• thursday, April 14th 2 PM – 8 PM<br />

• friday, April 15th 8 AM – 1:30 PM and<br />
