Crest Nicholson 05 OUR SOUTHERN FOCUS In addition to five regional housebuilding divisions, the Group operates two further business units: Crest Nicholson Regeneration, which specialises in large-scale developments with public and private partners; and Crest Strategic Projects, which sources unallocated sites and secures planning permissions for medium to long-term development. South West Chiltern South Eastern London HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR PORTFOLIO Crest Nicholson Regeneration Crest Strategic Projects Chiltern Eastern Delivered in partnership with the HCA, Oakgrove Village is a new 1,100 home community near Milton Keynes. The development has a community focus with a vibrant district city centre at its heart, and interconnected, landscaped green corridors, open spaces and parkland. Winner of ‘Best House Design’, Sunday Times British Home Awards 2015. Finberry, near Ashford in Kent, was acquired through a joint venture with the Church Commissioners. The 168 hectare site is strategically important to the town’s growth and prosperity. Alongside new homes, construction is underway to provide commercial space, as well as the necessary infrastructure to support a thriving new community. Monksmoor Park is a new residential-led, mixed use community with Garden Village principles at the core of the masterplan. Over the next 10 years Crest Nicholson will deliver low-density family homes, a local centre, community building, school, allotments, a community garden, play areas, sports pitches and public open spaces. Mitchams Park is a mix of 102 apartments and houses on the former Cambridge City Football Club ground. This project is incorporating the area’s football heritage through a collaborative public art strategy, KickstART. Intrinsic to the development, it will create a real sense of community and place for Mitchams Park. London South South West Valentine Place near the South Bank is a unique development of 61 apartments and mews houses and 24,000 sq ft of commercial space. This design-led scheme provides a mixture of new build warehouse-style homes concealed behind the retained façade of the former Maltina bakery. Kilnwood Vale is an entirely new community situated between Crawley and Horsham. At the heart of this 132 hectare development will be a market square – a vibrant hub for residents with a library, public house, primary care centre, primary school, nursery and 19 hectares of public open space. Penarth Heights, a 377 unit regeneration development overlooking Cardiff Bay, is transforming the former 1960s ‘Billybanks’ estate into a contemporary residential quarter. Delivered in partnership with the United Welsh Housing Association and the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Penarth Heights is emerging as a vibrant new community, breathing fresh life into the area.
