What is
LED wallpaper
LED wallpaper was pioneered by Meystyle in 2004. The LEDs
are completely integrated into the wallpaper without adding
any thickness to the material. This allows our wallpaper to
be hanged like any tradional wall covering with the added
requirement of an electrical socket.
Every roll of our LED wallpaper is custom-made to project.
Each LED is incorporated by hand. We use an exclusive
technology that allows to seamlessly connect each roll of LED
wallpaper to the adjacent ones through an intuitive system
of flat metal connectors that reduce the wiring to a minimum.
Our LED wallpaper does not require special preparations. Any
professional installer can hang it without problems.
Our LEDs are low-voltage, which makes them totally safe. All
our LEDs are estimated to work up to six years when left on
for 24 hrs a day in normal room temperature, which means you
will be able to enjoy your wallpaper for a very long time.
All designs are available with incorporated
LEDs and Swarovski crystals upon request.

How LED wallpaper works

Installation requirements
meystyle wallpaper can be hung like any other
traditional wall covering provided that the surface
to cover is dry, uniformly smooth, and clear of any
unsound coatings or metal objects (staples, nails, etc.).
The wallpaper rolls can be applied to the wall so that
the edges abut with the previous ones, without overlaps
(butt seams method – PIC A).
Connecting the rolls
meystyle uses an exclusive technology to seamlessly
connect each roll of paper to one another reducing
the wiring to a minimum.

Each roll of wallpaper neatly connects with the adjacent
ones through custom-made flat metal connectors that
can be seamlessy applied on the paper surface to
assure the passage of electricity without the need
of wires or other visible devices (PIC B).
The wallpaper can be connected to a specific power
supply or an LED drive, provided with each order
(see below), through a jacking system (PIC C).
Meystyle Power supplies
Our power supplies are custom made to meet specific
requirements. meystyle recommends to always use
the power supply provided with each order in order to
avoid possible malfunctioning. Each power unit can be
provided with the requested country-specific plug.

Our LED drives are custom made to meet specific
requirements. meystyle recommends to have a professional
electrician do the installation and to always
use the drive provided with each order in order to
avoid possible malfunctioning.

Wallpaper specifications
Inks
meystyle employs two different kinds of inks:
eco-solvent inks have an environment-friendly composition
providing high quality long-lasting waterproof outputs.
hp latex inks represent the latest advancement in print
technology assuring durable, non-flammable results that are
suitable for all those application where safety is a primary
requirement.
LEDs – Light Emitting Diodes
meystyle employs three different type of LEDs available
for each project: Warm White, Super White, Floating LEDs.
All LEDs can operate at a temperature range between
−30°C and +85°C. Operating life: 50 000 hrs at 20mA, 25°C.

swarovski TM is the world-leader producer of outstanding
quality crystal components. Swarovski’s manufacturing
processes guarantee the highest possible degree of
component quality and unmatched brilliance.
preciosa ® is one of the top world producers of jewelry
components. Each crystal possess extraordinary optical and
aesthetic characteristics.
Substrates and finishes
meystyle designs can be reproduced on a variety of materials:
velvet is a non-woven vinyl-coated substrate with a velvety
finish that adds a more organic feel to the material.
Fire behaviour: B1
cotton is a mixture of natural cotton fibres on non-woven
material to produce an organic soft looking cloth finish.
Fire behaviour: Treated to meet project requirements.
silks is a non-woven material covered with a wide range of
different silk fibres textures spanning from a more perlescent to
a more metallic look.
