Atli Thor from Iceland uses his camera to transform the everyday into something
magical. It really doesn’t matter whether he photographs models, horses, power
plants, or luxury watches. Thor stages visual worlds that have their own laws and
their own creative vocabulary. His surreal, fairytale motifs are often inspired by
the sparse beauty of Icelandic landscapes. The result are photographs that never
fail to fascinate the beholder in a magical way.
