SUMMER CAMP MISSION/INTRODUCTION
Devon Preparatory School is pleased to offer our Summer Athletic Camp
Series for boys ages 9-14. The mission of the Piarist order and Devon
Prep is the holistic education of youth. Founded with the motto “Pietas
et Litterae”, meaning “Devotion to God and Knowledge”, the order
continues to evolve at and with Devon Prep.
Devon Prep serves as an important priority enabling the Piarist
mission of preparing young men for the rigors of twenty-first century life by modeling, in
word and deed, the Piarist values of charity, humility, patience, respect and simplicity.
In connection with our school mission, it is important that we offer boys the opportunity
to strengthen their mind and body through athletics, with the assistance and encouragement
of Devon Prep’s coaches and student athletes.
Our Athletic Camp series is designed for boys at all levels of play. The focus is on the
individual and promoting his strengths while helping him learn more about developing his
weaknesses. Our main goal is that the boys have fun, but we also hope their experience with
us will provide a new found confidence in themselves and their athletic skills.
We hope too see your son this summer!
