A word from the Ed
Aaaargh!! Stop the world, I
want to get off! What a week
in the Sandbag Times office.
Last weeks article on the
Invisible Veteran has stirred
up a little bit of a hornets nest
but in the right areas and with
the right people now getting
involved. With any luck, the
system for veterans in the NHS
is about to be addressed and
hopefully we will get the help
we so desperately need.
I have focused this week’s
articles on the lighter side of
things just to bring us back down
to earth gently for a short time.
The big article is on the up and
coming air show season which
has just begun. I wanted to take
a brief look at the safety issues
and changes following the
unfortunate and tragic events of
2015. Although the Shoreham
accident is still being
investigated the CAA has issued
changes to air display laws.
These are pretty comprehensive
and in-depth so I have attached
the full document from the CAA
on the article. But that aside I
have put a few tips of where to
go and what you can see, also
what is missing from the line-up
this year.
I’ve also given a few tips on
how to escape anxiety and other
issues through creative writing.
Something that has been a big
passion of mine for some time.
Get your pens out, put your
thinking caps on and start
creating works of art through
poetry and song. Stay safe and
have a great week whatever you
