A new program by name Program Catalyst has
been launched in all the four Engg colleges of SVES
which is a training program on GRE + CRT
The objective being:
· Increase the fundamental Aptitude Skills/
Verbal/ Critical Reasoning & Analytical Skills
of students
· Increase adaptability of students to face any
company pattern , particularly when there is
a surprise element
· Reduce reliance on Placements by diverting
potential students to higher education in
excellent Institutions abroad
Implementation plan:
. Program CATALYST is a 120 hours program
proposed to be conducted over a time span of
3 months
. The program is being conducted on the
respective campuses, adapting to the
academic schedule
. The program is being conducted by Team
Elephos which has had a long association
with the Vishnu group.
. Online testing will be used to measure
performance of students periodically.

Conducted in collaboration with ARK infotech,
Mumbai from 10th December 2015 to 9th
January 2016. 60 students of III and IV B. Tech,
Mechanical Engineering are attended the
training program.
Conducted a training program on AutoCAD is
conducting in collaboration with Ramsys
InfoCAD (academic partner of Autodesk),
Hyderabad from 15th February 2016 to 4th
March 2016. 120 students of II B. Tech,
Mechanical Engineering attended the training
program.
Conducted a Seminar on “Waste heat recovery
systems” by Jayavardana Reddy, Managing
Director, Enmax Engineering (India) Limited on
22nd January 2016.
The Centre for English Language and Life
Skills was established by our beloved
Chairman Sri K.V. Vishnu Raju during the 1st
semester of 2015 batch. The CELLS caters to
the language needs of the students of all
courses and aims at enriching their Life
Skills. A plethora of activities – 'News hour,
Word of the day, Thought of the day, Saturday
review, Showcase, Essay writing, Slogan
writing, Panel Discussion, Fun with English
and Blindfold' along with many other News
paper activities take place as part of the
CELLS.
Slogan Writing, Kwento, Articulate and Mind
mapping were conducted during the first
semester. An overwhelming response from
the students exemplifies the success of this
initiative. Dr. E. Laxmi Narsaiah, HoD and
Dean Freshman made his presence felt
during the conduct of these activities and
appreciated the participants for their active
involvement.
Mr. A.L.Kishore, Associate Professor has
completed the course on 'LEADERSHIP IN
21st CENTURY ORGANIZATIONS' from
Copenhagen Business School with a grade of
95.3% through Coursera.

price of Rs 15000 for their project titled “Smart feeding device” at Anveshana.
