The soft Enduro mousse (0.4 bar) is available now in an
80/100-21 front & 140/80-18 rear with the full range of
sizes being available from 1st August. Batt Holdings tells us
that they have increased the tear strength by 15% which

Yamaha’s YXZ1000R arrives in SA
Yamaha has landed two of these monsters so far. You would
have read about them when they were launched a few
months ago, in this here publication – and although we were
not invited along, it sure looks like a barrel of fun. Since we
saw one of the machines at the Kyalami show, we have been
petitioning Yamaha to please allow us to ride or test the unit –
but all to no avail. We hear a rumour that maybe, maybe we’ll
get a ride/drive soon – but only the mayors of fun know when
that will be. In the interim, here are some lekker pics and a
few specs. Pricing is unconfirmed as of yet, but man-o-man,
the SXS wars are heating up…
