INTRODUCTION TO ROAD TRANSPORT OPERATIONS<br />

This is an introduc<strong>to</strong>ry course for fleet<br />

managers and supervisors that covers<br />

the fundamentals of road legislation,<br />

road safety, driver management,<br />

accident procedures and competency<br />

standards required by transport<br />

professionals. This course can be a<br />

standalone learning programme for<br />

fleet managers not requiring the<br />

<strong>Transport</strong> Manager Certificate of<br />

Professional Competence or as a<br />

prelude <strong>to</strong> undertaking the TM CPC.<br />

With our process of continuous<br />

assessment, there are no<br />

examinations <strong>to</strong> complete.<br />

How Will I Study?<br />

Students progress through the course by<br />

Continuous Assessment. The programme<br />

is studied through supported distance<br />

learning, meaning students can study<br />

anywhere in the world, at their own pace.<br />

There are 16 assignments based against<br />

our interactive on-line case study. The<br />

course duration is approximately 80<br />

guided learning hours. Our instruc<strong>to</strong>rs are<br />

available office hours GMT <strong>to</strong> advise with<br />

studies and <strong>to</strong> answer any queries, and<br />

outside these hours with prior notice.<br />

Assessment<br />

On completion of the programme, you will<br />

be awarded either a ‘Certificate of<br />

Completion’ or, if you take the online<br />

assessment, a ‘Certificate of<br />

Achievement’. To progress on<strong>to</strong> the<br />

Certificate or Diploma in Commercial Fleet<br />

Management Qualification, you will need<br />

<strong>to</strong> present a Certificate of Achievement.<br />

Course Fees<br />

To study the course without an online<br />

assessment, the course fee is £595.00<br />

plus VAT.<br />

To study the course and complete an<br />

online assessment, the course fee is<br />

£625.00 plus VAT.<br />
