Welcome...

The River Nene in East

Northamptonshire is the

county’s best kept secret and

what better way to unlock

its magic than exploring it in

a Canadian open canoe. It’s

an excellent way to shake

off the stresses and strains

of normal day to day life as

it forces you to slow down

Simple pricing

One price will cover the

cost of your trip which

includes Canoe Hire,

Accommodation, Camp

equipment if camping,

and later execution of Mary Queen of Scots.

Or maybe Lyveden New Beild. This

when its creator Sir Thomas Tresham died

and his son became embroiled in the

Catholic gunpowder plot.

One thing is for sure, you will discover a piece

of our kingdom that remains unspoilt and is

rich in heritage as well as being home to a

The Small Print - Part 2

Booking & Refund Policy

1. For standard trips of £80 value or over, a 50% booking

deposit will be required at the time of booking, and may be

paid by Credit Card, Debit Card or Cheque. This booking

deposit is non-refundable, except as per clause 5. below.

2. The balance will be payable by Credit Card, Debit Card or

Cheque at least 14 days before your trip, and is also nonrefundable,

except as per clause 5. below.

3. For standard trips of less than £80 value, full payment will be

required at time of booking. 50% of the payment will be

non- refundable, with the balance being refundable upon

cancellation up until 14 days before your trip, when the full

payment becomes non-refundable, except as per clause 5.

below.

4. Some special promotions, or limited availability trips will

require payment in full at the time of booking with the full

payment being non-refundable, except as per clause 5

below.

5. Hire on the day is subject to safe river and weather

conditions. If, BEFORE YOUR TRIP BEGINS, a postponement

of your hire is deemed necessary by the River Nene Canoe

Hire Co. Ltd., we will give you as much notice as possible and

we will offer you alternative dates. Under these

circumstances only, and if no convenient alternative date

can be agreed, any monies paid will be fully refunded.

6. Once a trip begins, no refunds will be made, regardless of

any change in conditions.

7. Changes to a booking will only be accepted from the

original booking contact (the "designated responsible adult"),

and if multiple changes are required, Canoe2 asserts the right

to make an administrative charge of £10 per change (at our

discretion). The designated responsible adult will also be

responsible for making all payments to Canoe2, as well as

other responsibilities as mentioned within our general terms

& conditions.

8. It is extremely important to arrive by the time shown on

your booking confirmation form. If late, it is very likely that

other fellow paddlers will be delayed by you. Therefore, it

may be necessary to leave without you and you may lose

your payment.

9. Gift Vouchers must be paid for in full by credit card, debit

card, or paypal, and payments are non-refundable once the

gift voucher(s) has/have been posted.

10. Expiry dates of gift vouchers will always allow AT LEAST one

whole season from date of purchase. If it is not possible for

you to use your voucher during that time, an extension (to

the end of the following season only), can be requested. A

£10 administration charge will be payable.
