Aquatic Center Customer Appreciation Day – Friday, Sept 2 Finish the summer in style at the Whitecliff Aquatic Center Customer Appreciation Day beginning when the pool opens at 4 pm. This day will be filled with games throughout the day, prizes, and a concert by Lunar Levitation. This funfilled evening will end with a special showing of Space Jam, sponsored by Chick-fil-A who will be onsite giving away chicken sandwiches. The movie starts at dusk and swimming will be free beginning at 6 pm. This is our thanks to you for spending the summer with us. The event kicks off with the Pumpkin Pie 5k at 10 am and a 1 mile costume fun run starting at 11 am. A variety of festive games, booths, bounce houses, trunk- or- treat, hayrides, food trucks and a live band will also be onsite to kick off the Halloween holiday. This year it will be held on Saturday, September 17th, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Crestwood Night Out is a crime prevention awareness program organized by the National Association of Town Watch. This night is designed to heighten crime awareness and strengthen neighborhood spirit. Neighborhoods throughout Crestwood organize block parties, ice cream socials, cookouts, and events. Along with Neighborhood Watch and Police Board members, officers and staff of the Crestwood Police Department join in the neighborhood celebrations. McGruff the Crime Dog also makes special appearances on Crestwood Night Out. Crestwood Night Out was moved to September from the usual National Night Out date in August due to the high temperatures that Crestwood can have in August. The Community Center staff reserve the right to refuse any item for sale that is deemed inappropriate. Space is limited, so reserve your spot early. Quarry Fishing The quarry is open to anglers of all ages. We have a fish population that consists of bass, sunfish and catfish. Artificial or live bait can be used, but no minnows, please.
