volunteers

We rely on volunteers to enhance the

learning experience for many of the

young people.

There are many volunteer

opportunities available with

Young Enterprise Scotland across our

programmes. They range from an hour

assisting our delivery team in the

classroom to a longer committment,

with weekly meetings for our

Company Programme Business

Advisors or a position on our Local

Area Team.

Case studies

There is no better way for

Young Enterprise Scotland to tell our

story and showcase the impact we have

on young people than through one of

our fantastic case studies.

“The Pathways Programme played an

essential part in rebuilding my skills

and confidence. It was the key to me

meeting the right people, to opening up

employment opportunities

and to getting me into work”

#YESAlumni

Each year we engage with over 13,000 young people across Scotland. Each young

person learns and succeeds through enterprise by taking part in one of our

Programmes. We have helped many discover their passion for business and are proud

to say we have shaped many successful entrepreneurs.

Our aim is to sustain lifelong relationships with our alumni. We want to witness their

success and be there to provide support when needed.

Anyone who has taken part in any of our Programmes can register with our alumni

network. Through our alumni network there are opportunities, benefits, resources

and event invitations available

There are exciting times ahead for Young Enterprise Scotland in

2016/2017. A strong fundraising strategy which includes the launch

of our social enterprise ‘YES Works’ will provide an additional

source of income as well as practical experiences for young people

on our Pathway Programmes. A comprehensive period of

development is now coming to fruition. which includes our new

#YESAlumni Network. This will give new ways for young people

and former participants to interact with us, and should further

increase our visibility and reach amongst young people and

hopefully provide a further source of income.

In response to demand from young people from the

University sector, we will pilot the Start-Up Programme

which will expand our reach into the University Sector

for the first time.

We will relocate our operational headquarters to

our Rouken Glen Centre bringing considerable cost

savings and further opportunity for collaboration with

like minded organisations.
