Main features of critical writing are: •A confident and well-defined refusal to accept the conclusions of others from your research without evaluating the evidence and the arguments they present •A balanced piece of writing with reasons why the ideas of others may be accepted, dismissed or may need to be treated with caution; •Presenting your voice clearly with your own evidence and argument, leading to your own conclusion; •A recognition that your own evidence, argument, and conclusion may have limitations.
