adjacent to the canteen. From there heading south we will have a
Large all weather viewing Platform with a bar stylehandrail so our
supporters can watch the game in comfort in any weather
conditions. On the other side of the bar area will be an open air
Gym enclosed with security shutters for the use of all teams and
club members to condition themselves. We have been fortunate
enough to obtain a Grant from the NRL to assist us with our club
improvements, this being said we will be calling on the help of all
of our members to donate some time on working bees we will be
holding to assist us in building the new deck, much like we did
when we built the existing Clubhouse. This brings the sharks
community together and the deck will help to accommodate for
our growing club.
We will be holding some fundraisers to assist us in the funding of
this project such as a Narrabeen Sharks Golf Day held at Mona
Vale Golf Course at the end of the year. It will be held on a Friday
with a date to be confirmed. Please come and enjoy a great day
out with some ex and current NRL greats, win some prizes and
challenge your mates in the round of golf. All proceeds will
contribute to building the new deck for all of us to enjoy.
We are planning a preseason match to honour the great Don
”Freudy” Freudenstein around April, ‘The Don Freudenstein
Memorial Shield’
Freudy was a life member of the club and an ex president, he was
the driving force behind the building of the clubhouse we enjoy
today. Freudy passed away in 2015 after his long battle with
cancer. He was a huge part of our club and we are honouring his
memory with an inaugural match against the Bowraville Tigers
