Failure <strong>of</strong> <strong>main</strong> pipeline «Soiuz» DN 1400 on the 2577 th кm<br />
1. Failure caused by depressurization <strong>of</strong> a ring weld in<br />
mountainous area<br />
2. The depressurization <strong>of</strong> the ring weld was caused by<br />
assembly defects and by the ring weld at the stage <strong>of</strong><br />
pipeline construction.<br />
3. The failure was eliminated by 62 workers and 24 special<br />
purpose vehicles :<br />
• 54 workers <strong>of</strong> Main Pipeline Division<br />
PRYKARPATTRANSGAZ<br />
• 5 workers <strong>of</strong> Construction Division UKRGASPROMBUD<br />
• 3 workers <strong>of</strong> Centre for Technical Inspection TECHDIAGAS<br />
4. Emergency recovery works :<br />
• start: 8 00 a.m 02.01.16 ;<br />
• finish: 3 00 a.m 05.01.16;<br />
• duration: 63 hours<br />
5. Gas leakage 809 thous. cub.m , <strong>gas</strong> cost UAH 6 mln.
