Day 1: Arrival in <strong>Venice</strong><br />
The guests arrive at the airport of <strong>Venice</strong>; a bus will bring<br />
the group to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel near <strong>Venice</strong><br />
and dinner.<br />
Day 2: <strong>Venice</strong><br />
Breakfast at the hotel. A bus will bring the group to <strong>Venice</strong>.<br />
The hotel can be reached at about 20 Min on foot, or take<br />
the boat N. 4.2 or 5.2 till the stop S. Alvise. After the check<br />
in, individual visits of the Biennale. At 16:00 a guided visit<br />
of the St Mark’s Square. Dinner at a restaurant near the<br />
hotel.<br />
Day 3: Individual visits<br />
Breakfast at the hotel. An individual visit of the University<br />
(IUAV). Dinner at a restaurant near the hotel.<br />
Day 4: The lagoon<br />
Breakfast at the hotel. A visit of the islands Murano and<br />
Burano. The group will have a chance to visit a glass<br />
blowing workshop and see how various objects from glass<br />
are produced. Dinner at a restaurant near the hotel.<br />
Day 5: Florence<br />
Today you will take the fast train to Florence. At the<br />
Florence train station a bus will be waiting for you. You will<br />
deposit the luggage on the bus. Lunch at a restaurant in<br />
Florence.<br />
Some free time to see the centre, afterwards you will visit<br />
the Galleria dell’Accademia (where the famous statue<br />
David is located), with a local guide (in Cinese if possible).<br />
Dinner at the hotel near Florence.<br />
Day 6: San Gimignano<br />
In the morning a visit of an artist’s workshop in Florence<br />
will be arranged for you. Then you will reach San<br />
Gimignano for a visit. It is famous by its ancient towers and<br />
the medieval atmosphere. Dinner at the hotel in Siena.<br />
Day 7: Siena and Montepulciano<br />
Today you will visit Siena, the town of the famous horse run<br />
Palio. Lunch at restaurant in Siena.<br />
You will proceed to the Montepulciano wine region, where<br />
you will visit a typical wine cellar and taste various local<br />
wines. The visit is in English or Cinese if possible; the wine<br />
production methods will be explained. This winery has a<br />
vast network of tunnels under the wineshop, where the<br />
visitors can view two etruscan tombs, a small agricultural<br />
museum, selection of fossils and rare medieval instruments<br />
for torturing.<br />
Reach your hotel in Chianciano Terme, check in and dinner.<br />
Day 8: Pienza and Rome<br />
A bus will bring you to Pienza, where you will visit the<br />
Palazzo Piccolomini (the headsets in Cinese are included).<br />
The bus will bring you to a train station. Take the train to<br />
Rome. Free time in the centre of Rome to explore the<br />
world-famous landmarks such as the Trevi Fountain, the<br />
Pantheon, the Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, etc.<br />
Transfer to your hotel and dinner.<br />
Day 9: Departure<br />
In the morning a possibility to arrange a visit of a design<br />
studio in Rome. Departure – transfer to the airport FCO.<br />
