camps to provide you
with exciting and unique
opportunities to learn, play
and explore with friends
and neighbours over the
Holiday season. Camps are
available for registration
by the day, and no two days
will be the same!

Special Needs
Dovercourt is committed to the inclusion
of campers with special needs. Please
make us aware of any special requirements
for medication, mobility or other resources
your child may need to participate at the
time of registration. For questions, to
arrange a meeting, or for assistance with

Before & After Camp
Regular camp days are from 9:00-4:00, with
drop of 8:30-9:00 and pick up 4:00-4:30.
Pre-camp begins at 7:30am and includes
quiet games, crafts, colouring and circle
games. Post-camp finishes at 6:00pm and
includes active and quiet game options and
crafts as well as a snack at 5pm. Holiday
camp fees includes both pre- and post-camp.
Camp Lunches
It is important to send your child with a lunch
as well as a morning and afternoon snack
each day. Camp lunches prepared by Adam’s
Apple Café are available for purchase from at
the time of your registration, as a camp extra.
$8.40/day Please note that the Café will be
closed December 27-30 and camp lunches
are available for purchase January 2-6 only.

Christmas
Holiday
Winter Holiday Camps are designed to keep kids active and creative over the school break.
Pick and choose the days you need, and kids will enjoy a variety of camp activities, mostly on-site at
Dovercourt. Kinder camps are designed with the needs of Junior and Senior Kindergarteners in mind
and will keep them on the daily routine of school with structured snack, lunch, rest and outdoor play
times. School Age theme camps are designed with age-appropriate activities and include swimming,
active games, and arts and crafts each day, while sport/art camps are planned for most of the day to
be spent on more focused activities.
All camps available for registration by the day
and no two days will be the same!
Kinder Camps
(Junior and Senior
Kindergarten):
New Year Cheer
Countdown to New Year’s Eve with some
serious party practice. We’ll work on our
dance moves and practice our singing,
cheering, and decorating skills with a
different party theme each day. Days are
balanced with outdoor play, indoor games,
arts and crafts and swimming.
Vacation
Destination
Pack your bags for an exciting holiday
adventure as we visit a different destination
each day. Each day will be spent
vacationing in a popular destination from
Hawaii to Mexico and Paris to Japan.
Days will be filled with outdoor play,
arts and crafts, swimming and of course
a siesta after lunch.
School Age Theme
Camps (grades 1-4)
Rockin’ New Year
Countdown to New Year’s Eve with some
serious party practice. We’ll work on our
dance moves and practice our singing,
cheering, and decorating skills with a
different party theme each day. Each day
will include swimming, outdoor play,
arts and crafts, and daily dance parties.
Winter Vacation
Join us for a holiday adventure as we visit
a different destination each day. Each day
will be spent vacationing in a popular
destination from Hawaii to Mexico and Paris
to Japan. Each day will include a swim time,
arts and crafts, and skating.
Holiday Youth
Zone (Grades 5, 6)
Spend some holiday time in the Youth Zone
Clubhouse. Activities are geared toward kids
in grades 5-6 and include group challenges
and games, outdoor sports, video game
time, rock climbing, skating (certain days
only), and swimming.
Specialty Camps:
Art Mix
Unleash your creative talents this holiday
with a mix of visual and performing arts
including drawing, painting, pottery,
photography and improv games.
Sport Mix
Stay active over the holiday break with a mix
of your favourite indoor sports including
scooter-soccer and noodle-hockey, outdoor
play, rock climbing, swimming, and skating.
