Medical costs<br />

Each year, we invest more than $40 million to make health<br />

and wellness benefits more affordable for you and your<br />

family. And here’s a high-level view of what to expect in<br />

2017 from a cost perspective:<br />

• Deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums for the two PPO<br />

medical plans will increase slightly – however co-pays and<br />

co-insurance won’t increase<br />

• Deductibles, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket<br />

maximums for the two current high-deductible medical<br />

plans won’t increase<br />

• Employee contributions for certain plans will change:<br />

– Blue Cross Blue Shield plans will increase about 7%<br />

(consistent with market trend)<br />

– Kaiser plans won’t increase<br />

– A new high-deductible medical plan, if right for you,<br />

could significantly reduce your employee contributions<br />
