CYPRESS ASSISTANCE MINISTRIES (CAM)<br />
Cypress Assistance Ministries offers year round adult education classes<br />
for students 19 years old or older. GED preparation classes are on<br />
Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6-9 PM and ESL classes are on<br />
Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6-9 PM. Students should report<br />
to CAM II, located at 11107 Huffmeister with a government issued ID and<br />
$40 in cash for a materials fee. Plan to stay for registration and testing.<br />

CYPRESS AREA FOOD PANTRY<br />
Do you know of someone who has trouble putting food on the table?<br />
Maybe their employment was suddenly terminated, maybe it’s a choice<br />
between medications or food for whatever reason, people can find<br />
themselves in a situation where they need a little help.<br />
Fountain of Life Church of God on Mueschke Road runs a food pantry<br />
on Mondays from 3:30-6 PM and the only requirement is that the client<br />
should live in zip code 77433 and west of Skinner 77429. For more<br />
information, contact 281-373-9337. Food donations and volunteers<br />
are also greatly appreciated. Computerized job searches and resume<br />
preparation and printing are also available.<br />
BEAR CREEK AL-ANON MEETINGS<br />
The Bear Creek Al-Anon meetings are open to anyone who has been<br />
affected by someone else’s drinking. Meetings are held: Monday - 8 PM,<br />
West Houston Church of Christ, Room 207, 17100 West Road. Wednesday<br />
- 8 PM, Bear Creek Community Center, Hwy. 6 & Patterson Rd. behind<br />
Farm & Ranch Pavilion. Saturday morning - 9 AM, Heritage Presbyterian<br />
