Museum of Art hosts the 13th annual Padua<br />
Hills Art Fiesta today. The event includes<br />
an outdoor art show with local<br />
artists, arts and crafts demonstrations and<br />
music, all under the shady olive trees of<br />
Padua Hills Theatre, 4467 Padua Ave.<br />
Claremont Heritage will also screen the<br />
recently produced documentary film<br />
Claremont Modern: The Convergence<br />
of Art + Architecture at Midcentury<br />
throughout the day, accompanied by an<br />
exhibition produced by Claremont Heritage.<br />
Twenty-five artists will display and<br />
sell their original artwork including paintings,<br />
prints, ceramics, glass, sculpture,<br />
woodwork, textiles and jewelry. New<br />
faces this year include woodworking by<br />
Hal Metlizky; ceramics by Kristen Erickson<br />
and T. and Jon Pacini; weaving by<br />
Patricia Hinds and paintings by Jackie<br />
Knell, Roz McMillan and Dee Small. The<br />
event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission<br />
is $8 for adults, $6 for CMA and<br />
Heritage members. Children under 18 are<br />

LOCAL WILDLIFE STUDY Pomona<br />
College hosts environmental analysis professor<br />
Paul Faulstich from 7 to 8:30 p.m.<br />
Mr. Faulstich will present his studies of<br />
wildlife in the Claremont Wilderness Park<br />
and San Dimas Experimental Forest, followed<br />
by a Q and A. The presentation<br />
will include archival pigment prints of local<br />
animals and plants that show a different<br />
relationship with the world. The event<br />
is free and open to the public and is sponsored<br />
by Sustainable Claremont, the<br />
League of Women Voters, the Interfaith<br />
