The 2002 356 Registry East Coast Holiday will
be held April 11-14, 2002 in Charleston, South
Carolina at the prestigious Middelton Place
Plantation. The event planners are trying to set a
record for the most 550 Spyders in one place at

Porsche 356, a largely hand-made automobile, is the original
Porsche manufactured in Germany between 1948 and 1965. The
356 Registry is an owners group organized to preserve and enjoy
the original Porsche. There will be several hundred of these vintage
sports cars at the above event. The 550 Spyder is the racing version
of the Porsche 356, renowned as an excellent racer in the 1950’s.
