As a result of her feather-loss, the
bird had a hard time naturally
regulating her body temperature.
SeaWorld’s aviculture team created
a wetsuit to mimic her former
coat of feathers. It was designed
and sewn by SeaWorld’s wardrobe
department and custom fit just
for her. She wears it as she swims,
sleeps and eats alongside her fellow
penguins.
• Homes with even-numbered addresses
can water only on Sundays.
• Nonresidential properties can
only water on Tuesdays.
Residents should only water when
needed and not between 10 a.m.-
4 p.m. Watering is restricted to no
more than one hour per zone. The
restrictions apply to private wells
and pumps, ground or surface water,
and water from public and private
utilities.
