13th year of BDA Good Practice Membership
Quality Dental Care in Bovey Tracey is celebrating
its 13th year as a member of the BDA (British
Dental Council) Good Practice Membership.
For our patients this means we work to nationally
agreed standards of good practice to develop
and maintain a consistent quality of service
for our patients and are assessed by the BDA
to ensure we are meeting the Good Practice
requirements. Membership is renewable each
year and every three years we are required to
complete a re-application procedure which we
have just completed to be awarded our 13th year
of membership. This is particularly rewarding as
the practice has undergone a change of clinicians
over the past year and Dr Richard Aldridge BDS
MFDS RCS Eng BSc. Hons and Dr Aimee Depledge
BDS are delighted the practice has achieved this
significant achievement.
Quality Dental care was established in the early
1980’s offering family dental care to the people of
Bovey Tracey and surrounding rural areas. Many
of our patients are still attending the practice
after all those years and like to “catch up “with
the practice staff who have been working at
Quality Dental Care for many years.
It is situated in a small mews cottage just off
Fore Street and the main surgery has wonderful
views of Dartmoor from the large window
overlooking our secluded courtyard garden
with its well established shrubs and flower pots.
From our waiting room patients can watch the
birds feeding from our feeders and take in the
tranquil atmosphere of the garden. The practice
provides all aspects of dentistry from regular
dental examinations and hygienist visits to tooth
whitening, Invisalign - the clear alternative to
braces, Six Month Smiles - straight teeth, less
time, clear braces and dental implants, as well as
cosmetic treatments of facial aesthetics dermal
fillers and line reduction injections for frown
lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines.
