Jordan, he’s a guy who is kind of
above his years. To me, it’s not like
he’s a rookie ... He’s a pretty smart
guy. So it wasn’t like he has some
big learning curve to hurdle. He was
ready to go from the start ... He came
in calm. For me it was like playing
with another veteran player because
of how he approaches the game. He

One of the budding, young stars on the Eagles defense,
rookie 3rd-round draft pick Jordan Hicks had
his stellar rookie season derailed with a torn pectoral
tendon suffered in the team’s 8th game at Dallas. At
the time of his injury, Hicks led the team with 54 tackles,
led the NFL with three fumble recoveries, and
led all NFL rookies with seven impact plays (2 INTs, 1
sack, 1 FF and 3 FR).

• Registered 8 tackles (7 solo) while adding 1 QB
hurry vs. GB (11/28)
• Produced 7 tackles (6 solo), 1 INT and 1 pass
break-up at NYG (11/6). Registered INTs in backto-back
