is planning the new signals 

— called rectangular rapid 

flashing beacons — at the 

intersection of Ninth Street 

NE and First Avenue NE, 

two blocks south of Sioux 

Center Christian School and 

three blocks west of Kinsey 

Elementary. 

The new crossing should 

happen in the next week or
