concerns, issues, or suggestions to<br />

all members of the community.<br />

The Town Common encourages<br />

all citizens to submit letters<br />

concerning issues of interest and<br />

concern to the local community.<br />

Letters selected for publication<br />

may be edited for length and clarity.<br />

Some letters may serve as a catalyst<br />

for other articles or coverage, and<br />

community leaders and agencies<br />

will be offered an opportunity to<br />

respond to letters concerning their<br />

areas of responsibility.<br />

All letters must be signed and<br />

include a daytime telephone<br />

number.<br />

Christmas in Newburyport<br />

fun and familiar songs with more contemplative quiet music with her<br />

partner, renowned resophonic guitarist Roger Williams. Amy & Roger’s<br />

vocal blend is a treat to the ear, and they always make sure to include some<br />

compelling duets in their show to the delight of the audience.<br />

Rick Lang & Friends will perform songs from The Season Of My Heart as<br />

well as Rick’s most recent CD release That’s What I Love About Christmas.<br />

Their part of the show will feature the sparkling vocals of Karen Lincoln<br />

Wilber. Karen is the former lead vocalist for the popular New England<br />

bluegrass group “Waystation”. Award winning songwriter Rick Lang’s<br />

Gospel album “Look To the Light”, released in 2010 was nominated for a<br />

Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Award and International Bluegrass<br />

Music Association (IBMA) award for Gospel Recorded Event Of The Year.<br />

Most recently, in October of this year, Rick was honored with an award<br />

for Holiday Song Of The Year (“That’s What I Love About Christmas”) by<br />

the IMEA at their annual Awards Show at the Marietta Performing Arts<br />

Center, Marietta GA.<br />

*To keep the shows fresh, each performing act introduces new material<br />

each season, much to the delight of the audience. There are always a few<br />

new wrinkles and surprises sure to keep you smiling on the outside…and on<br />

the inside. This upbeat, lively concert will provide a welcome relief from the<br />

holiday rush, providing simple moments to treasure and a chance to slow<br />

down and savor the season. Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity<br />

to unwind, relax and enjoy a truly unique and uplifting holiday event.<br />
