THE PONY CLUB<br />
Learning, friendship and fun!<br />
The Pony Club is ‘the’ starting point for<br />
any young person who wants to learn to<br />
ride and care for horses. Membership is<br />
open to anyone up to the age of 25; from<br />
total novices to those with a little more<br />
experience.<br />
There are over 500 Pony Club Centres in<br />
the UK, where Members without their own<br />
horse or pony can enjoy all the benefits<br />
of being in The Pony Club. If you do have<br />
a horse or pony there are over 300 Pony<br />
Club Branches ready to welcome you, all<br />
run by an army of incredible volunteers.<br />
Membership offers a huge range of<br />
benefits, including training in how to ride<br />
and care for a pony correctly; reinforced<br />
by members taking tests and earning<br />
achievement badges.<br />
The Olympic events of dressage, show<br />
jumping and eventing are included on<br />
The Pony Club’s vast discipline list as well<br />
as polo, polocrosse, tetrathlon, mounted<br />
games, endurance and pony racing. There<br />
are plenty of opportunities for riders of all<br />
levels to take part in team and individual<br />
competitions, and the emphasis is always<br />
on achieving whilst having fun!<br />
