Howard Schacter – Board Member and Global Project Development
Howard Schacter has over 29 years of experience as a project developer and project manager in real estate
development and construction – and for the past nine years, exclusively in renewable energy and clean
technology. He has been instrumental in raising seed capital for clean tech and renewable energy start-up
ventures in the energy storage and wind power sectors. Mr. Schacter was COO of Mistral Power Corp. in
Vancouver, B.C. from 2003-2005. He left Mistral in late 2005 to initiate the acquisition and repowering of the
Edom Hills Wind Farm in Palm Springs, California, This fully developed repowering project was subsequently
sold in late 2007 to BP Alternative Energy. Following the sale of the Edom Hill Project Mr. Schacter then formed
a joint venture with Scientia Energy to remanufacture the turbines decommissioned as part of the repowering
project. The JV with Scientia has recently completed the development of new 65kw and 100kw turbine designs
and will be commencing the first manufacturing run of these new products in March 2010. He is also acting
CEO of AGV Technologies, Inc., which has commercialized a water treatment technology, funded primarily by
NASA, for use in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Schacter’s expertise in structuring the financial requirements for
large-scale project investments, master planning and energy integration are critical to the success of OGS.
Sheri Woodsgreen – Board Member and Global Socio-Economic Development
Sheri Woodsgreen is a pioneer in the philosophy of “doing well while doing good.” She conceived One Globe
Corporation – and its nonprofit partner, One Globe Foundation – to catalyze global impact and investments through
sustainable infrastructure development. Ms. Woodsgreen has integrated her diverse experience in the private, public
and social sectors to create the visionary One Globe Model – a platform for economic, environmental, equality and
entrepreneurial sustainability that powers an engine for strategic growth with universal application. She spearheaded
the One Globe Certified initiative – a comprehensive vetting process – to analyze the viability of development projects
for investors and for the One Globe Portfolio. In the last 10 years, Ms. Woodsgreen and her team have raised over $150
million for sustainable development and capital projects in the U.S. and globally. Prior to launching the One Globe
concept, Ms. Woodsgreen secured consulting relationships with Fortune 500 companies, a host of national and
international businesses and nonprofit organizations. She has engaged with world leaders and has collaborated with
world-changing organizations such as the United Nations World Environment Programme.
Luis Zambrana – Board Member and Global Infrastructure Development
Luis Zambrana brings over 25 years of professional development program management and design
experience to OGS. From 1991 to 2007 he was CEO and President of Zambrana Engineering, Inc. (ZEI),
engineering, construction management, environmental and surveying services company. The company
worked for clients ranging from the U.S. Department of Defense – including the U.S. Air Force and Corps of
Engineers – to state and local municipalities. ZEI served as a key design and management firm for energy
programs for Peabody, Hanson, Commonwealth Edison, and other utilities. Mr. Zambrana has been involved
in the renewable energy asset development market since 1999. He formed and served as senior managing
member of North American Bio-Energy Resources, LLC (NABR), which developed alcohol fuel and biomass
powered energy plants and more recently as Sr. Managing Member of the Sustainable Development Group,
LLC. NABR was instrumental in the technical integration of multiple renewable/sustainable technologies
to generate the best value and return on investment. This integration is now becoming the accepted Best
Practice as this market evolves and our energy economy matures.

Michael Brainard – Founder, The Brainard Group, LLC
Michael Brainard brings more than 30 years of experience in successfully guiding medium-to-large
corporations through the maze of the government-contracting business, helping his clients win awards,
perform successfully, control costs, and reduce claims. Since founding The Brainard Group, LLC in 2007, he has
designed and implemented Government Compliance Programs for small and large businesses, and he created
the ARRA Compliance Program for a major U.S. city in addition to providing a broad range of Government
compliance business counsel services. Mr. Brainard has headed up the Contacts, Procurement, Ethics and
Compliance Departments for major, multi-national contractors.
Mr. Brainard’s expertise covers Government Contracts Management and Administration, Government Compliance
Programs, providing counsel on Government business, legal, and contractual matters, Federal Acquisition
Regulation, Cost Accounting Standards, and other Government procurement regulations, implementing
business management systems that are both compliant and profitable. He has successfully completed scores
of audits with repeated approvals of his systems and processes. His approach to the government client is
transparent, following the rules and regulations, to engage the government in win-win fashion.
Mr. Brainard has provided business counsel in the areas of intellectual property, export control, classified
projects, and small business alliances including the Mentor-Protégé Program. He is a frequent public speaker,
and a Partner in the Corrao Group, a business life-cycle management and turn-around firm, where he provides
specialized Government Compliance Services.
Jayme Kurtyka – Managing Partner, Resource Holdings, LLC
Mr. Kurtyka launched Resource Holdings, LLC in September of 2009 as a Specialty Corporate Finance and
Private Equity Principle Investments firm. Most recently, he was a Managing Director of Investment Banking for
Advanced Equities, Inc., LLC (AEI), a Chicago-based Private Equity Investment Bank specializing in Silicon Valleybacked
late stage private equity financing rounds.
While with AEI, Mr. Kurtyka played a key role in financing numerous tier-one venture-backed Clean-tech
companies including: Altra Biofuels, Amyris, Bloom Energy, Cilion, Range Fuels, Sol Focus and Suniva. He was
also instrumental in financing other leading Silicon Valley-based high-tech companies, such as Infinera, RMI
Corp., Peregrine Semiconductor, eAsic Corporation, Foveon Inc., Presto Services Inc., and Luxtera. The AEI
banking team was responsible for well over $1B of Venture Capital funding after his tenure began in 2005.
Mr. Kurtyka is a Wall Street veteran of more than 26 years, having served as a portfolio manager for highnet-worth
clients at William Blair and Co., Drexel Burnham Lambert, Oppenheimer and Co., and Donaldson,
Lufkin & Jenrette, where he was fund manager for ISG Investment Partners. He graduated from Michigan State
University’s College of Social Science in 1980 and earned his Juris Doctorate degree at the Illinois Institute
of Technology’s Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1986. Mr. Kurtyka serves on the Rice University Clean-tech
Advisory Board and is a Series 7 Registered Representative.

Glenn Rambach, Ph.D. – Founder, Third Orbit Power Systems
Mr. Rambach has been a leader in the advanced energy research sector since 1974. Motivated by the need
for energy independence, security, and clean energy systems, his research has included diesel combustion
systems, alternative liquid fuels, laser fusion, hydrogen production and storage, fuel cell system designs and
integrated renewable energy systems using storage. Renewable energy has been his focus since 1990.
Mr. Rambach has developed optimization methods for design and operation of intermittent renewable energy
systems where energy storage provides on-demand power, and his 5kW wind-solar-hydrogen-fuel cell facility
still operates at the University of Nevada, Reno. He has worked as a research engineer at Stanford University
and spent 20 years at the Livermore and Sandia National Labs. Previously, he served as Director of Engineering
at Texaco Ovonic Fuel Cells, Director of New Technology at Tenneco Automotive, and fuel cell system advisor to
the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Command.
Most recently, Mr. Rambach completed R&D contracts supporting a nuclear company and a defense contractor
in the areas of hydrogen economics, very large-scale hydrogen production and transport, synthetic and
renewable hydrocarbon fuels. In 1999, he gave an invited lecture on “Integrated Renewable Energy Systems” at
the Russian Academy of Science in Moscow. He received his Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering from Cal Poly

Richard F. Chandler – Investor Relations
Richard Chandler brings nearly 30 years of global corporate development, M&A and capital raising experience
to the One Globe Corporation. He has raised over $200M in Venture Capital and Private Equity for five startup
companies and several established organizations, both privately held and public corporations. He was
responsible for the successful sale of three of those companies and took one firm through its Initial Public
Offering. He is also a business veteran with leadership skills acquired from holding executive positions in a
Fortune 50 telecommunications company all the way to co-founding four technology start-ups. Richard is
also a Strategic Advisor for several renewable energy companies and works with companies ranging from
thermovoltaic and geothermovoltaic products to thermoreflective filters. Mr. Chandler holds a BS in Marketing
and was appointed by AT&T to attend the Advanced Leadership Development Program at the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (Sloan School), Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Zacharie Mondel, Chief Executive Officer, GGEC
Zacharie Mondel has over 30 years experience across broad national and international industries, markets,
and accounts with expertise in identifying and capturing market opportunities to accelerate expansion,
increase revenues, and improve profit contributions. Zacharie is well-versed in information technologies,
telecommunications and energy management and was instrumental in the successful launch of three
successful high-tech start-ups.

Pacific Renewable Group, LLC
David Shutte is Managing Director of Pacific Renewable Group, LLC, and has over 25 years of financial, business
development and contacting experience in the energy industry. He has spent over 20 years in the independent power
project (IPP) industry, including financial management and business development positions for several publicly-traded
and privately-held IPP firms. Mr. Shutte’s accomplishments in the energy industry include: developed and closed
over $2B (2,000 MW) in Greenfield electric power projects with multiple technologies; closed approximately $1.5B in
non-recourse senior debt financings on related electric power projects; and raised about $300M in development and
equity capital. In recent years, he has assisted renewable energy developers with integrating their project’s principal
agreements with project financing. Mr. Shutte’s education includes a B.A. in Accounting, an MBA in Finance and a
JD degree, all from Michigan institutions. He was a member of the Michigan State Bar for over 20 years.

Alvaro Cedeño-Molinari
Alvaro Cedeño-Molinari, a lawyer by profession with a Masters in Peace and Conflict Transformation, has been
working for the Costa Rican government during the last four years, first as Chief of Staff for the Ministry of
Foreign Trade, and later as the Commercial Counselor for his country’s first diplomatic mission at the Embassy
in Beijing. He has participated as presenter, facilitator, and organizer at international conferences in India, Israel,
Russia, Thailand, and United States, mainly in the field of international relations. His professional interests focus

on sustainable resource management, renewable energy generation, and social entrepreneurship for the green
economy. He has visited more than 40 countries around the world, establishing a strong network of current
and potential partners for his endeavors. He has lived for at least three months in Guatemala, Brazil and India,
and more than two years in Norway and China. This year he will be based out of South Australia.
Mr. Cedeño-Molinari graduated as a lawyer from the University of Costa Rica (2001). He later obtained a Masters
degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Transformation (2004) from the University of Tromsø, Norway, where
he has taught workshops on intercultural competence building and conflict transformation. Currently, he is
studying a Masters in Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon in Australia, expected to graduate by
December, 2010.
Roger Devito
Roger Devito has 26 years of experience as an energy services professional and attorney specializing in private
power generation, project development, finance, acquisition, evaluation and management. WIth his legal,
contractual, and financial background and extensive project development expertise, Mr. Devito offers a wide
range of services to energy sector companies. He is capable of managing virtually all aspects of an acquisition
of power-related entities and or assets, or the development of a project from its inception. Mr. Devito has been
involved in over 1000MW of power generation projects both in the U.S. and internationally.
James Hammett
James Hammett has 35 years of federal, state and private project development and project management experience.
He has a demonstrated ability to create and implement innovative development strategies and award-winning
design-build projects. Responsibilities have included strategic planning, acquisition of real estate, management of
project design, securing project entitlements, project financing, and oversight of construction management.
Scott D. Jones
Scott Jones has over 25 years of experience as a Development Construction Manager with a reputation for
consistently delivering projects on budget and on schedule. He has specific expertise in land planning, civil
engineering, environmentally sensitive sites, infrastructure, construction scheduling and resource management
for large acreage and large investment developments. His project experience has included federal, state, public,
private, commercial, upscale residential, resorts, hotels, marinas, multi-family, theme parks, Olympic venues,
and golf course construction throughout the U.S., Mexico and Costa Rica. Mr. Jones serves as an expert witness
in development construction-related legal matters with a specialty in golf course development construction.
He is a certified Society of Workforce Planning Professionals (SWPP) planner and inspector and also holds
certifications in construction management and brownfield development from the Urban Land Institute.
Pedro M. Muñoz
Pedro M. Muñoz was the partner in charge of opening the Nicaragua office of F.A. Arias & Muñoz, but now
resides part time in San José and part time in Guanacaste, a province of Costa Rica which is well known for its
tourism boom. In Guanacaste, Pedro heads a very active law practice. He has cultivated his real estate practice
and has developed a Municipal law and tax practice. During the last months, Mr. Muñoz has advised (pro bono)

a Municipality in Costa Rica in the collection of land taxes and back taxes from a major real estate developer,
has advised the seller of a major stock stake in the Nicaraguan incumbent telecom company, as well as a major
food production company in the multijurisdictional divestiture of a production line. Pedro has also counseled
a buyer in the acquisition of a controlling stake in the land mark hotel and biggest and best known conference
center in Costa Rica, and has given local counsel to a major Dutch brewer in the acquisition of a minority stake
(25%) in Costa Rica’s largest (really the only) brewery.
Mr. Muñoz obtained a Masters Degree in Laws and Diplomacy in The Flecther School of Law and Diplomacy,
Tufts University, Boston, Massachussets, (Fulbright Scholar 1996). He obtained his Juris Doctor from Law School,
Universidad de Costa Rica (1992). He obtained Honor Scholarship, Universidad de Costa Rica (1988, 1990, 1991).
His Juris Doctor Degree has been recognized by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua (1998). Mr.
Muñoz is authorized as a practicing Attorney and Notary Public in Costa Rica (1992).
Dianne Severance
Dianne Severance has over 30 years of real estate investment, development and management experience.
She specializes in guiding and driving complex and unique developments, and has particular expertise in
redevelopment areas, financial feasibility and pro-forma analysis, urban design, and market rate and affordable
housing. Ms. Severance brings leadership competency through seasoned judgment, people skills and resultsfocused
capabilities. Successful projects include: Tahoe Center for Environmental Sciences, an innovative
public-private partnership for a world-class research and education facility at Lake Tahoe; redevelopment of
the South of Market Area (SOMA) in San Francisco with Bayside Village, as development manager for Forest City
Development. She was also key player in the master planning and construction of a 20-acre, $120M private
college campus project in Lake Tahoe.
Don L. Vick
Mr. Vick entered the Renewable Energy Industry, specifically Photovoltaic Solar Project Development, in late
2008 after over thirty years in Real Estate Development, Redevelopment, Marketing & Sales, and Real Estate
Investment Portfolio Management. His Real Estate career began in the late 1970’s with family owned Vick
Development, Inc based in San Antonio, Texas. His extensive education includes Magna Cum Laude honors
and 3 years of post-graduate Bio-Science, Medical, and Business studies at The University of Texas in Austin and
Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Other honors include NCAA All-American springboard diving
and World Championship professional high diving. Projects to date totaling over $350M have included resort,
commercial, industrial, residential, multifamily, and ranch land. Most are in Texas, Colorado, and now Arizona,
where he currently resides. His favorite project to date was the restoration of The Baldpate Inn, now on the
National Register of Historic Places, just outside of Estes Park, Colorado, next to the Rocky Mountain National Park.

Barbara D’Anneo – Healthcare and Philanthropy
Barbara D’Anneo served as a fund development professional for over seven years and has held a variety of
high-level volunteer positions for 40 years. Her diverse skill set includes planning, organizing and managing
multi-faceted, complex fundraising activities. She has experience in developing strong donor support bases

and major support groups; securing grants from government, foundation and community organizations,
community relations, marketing, and special events; contributing to improved growth, name recognition and
increased organization sustainable resources. Ms. D’Anneo’s accomplishments also include: serving as Board of
Directors Chair for the Alta Bates Summit Foundation, where she received a lifetime appointment; and chairing
the Board of Directors for the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center Foundation, where she led a $12-million
campaign for a state-of-the-art Cancer Center.
Rich Freeman – Environment and Government Relations
Rich Freeman brings more than 25 years of experience of Federal government service to the One Globe
Foundation. Mr. Freeman has worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency where he implemented
Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act regulations. He also played a major role in developing the first
Federal regulations allowing the Federal government to treat Indian Tribes as States with respect to awarding
grants and implementing environmental programs on the reservations. Mr. Freeman has also worked for the
U.S. Department of Energy where he served as a Project Manager on multiple mixed waste cleanup projects at
various National Laboratories. He also worked as the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative on various
Congressional grant packages. Prior to working for the Federal government, Mr. Freeman was employed
by Argonne National Laboratory as an Aquatic Ecologist and participated in writing Environmental Impact
Statements. Mr. Freeman holds a Masters Degree in Environmental Science and has taught college level
courses in Environmental Assessment and the National Environmental Policy Act.
Linda Gray – Real Estate
Ms. Gray has worked in the real estate industry for over 24 years, as a broker, manager of a Coldwell Banker
office in Laguna Beach, California, and Executive Director and President of Coldwell Banker Costa Rica (master
franchise). She owns two Coldwell Banker offices in northwest Costa Rica and is President Emeritus and
Founding Director of the Costa Rica Global Association of Realtors. Ms. Gray contributes to the communities
where she lives, including serving as Vice President of the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce and Laguna
Beach City Council Senior & Human Affairs Commission. In Costa Rica, she has been philanthropically involved
in land acquisition for One Globe Foundation by securing multiple sites for its University for Sustainability.
Ms. Gray is an alumni of Pepperdine University, where she earned a Masters Degree in Communications. At
California State University Long Beach, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Administration of Justice.
David Mattocks, Ph.D. – Environment, Philanthropy and International Relations
David Mattocks is a seasoned executive and an internationally recognized leader in sustainable business
practices. As an environmental scientist and an organizational development specialist, he has provided
direction and conducted assessments for numerous organizations in North America, Asia, Africa, and Latin
America. Dr. Mattocks is president of GreenPro, where he works with companies to develop profitable marketbased
environmental solutions. Formerly, he served as president and CEO of the Sierra Business Council,
a national leader on sustainable solutions comprised of over 700 business and community leaders. While
serving as president, he provided leadership in raising $8.4B in funding for clean water and natural resources
on the California Executive Committee in 2007. Dr. Mattocks also was named a National Kellogg Foundation

Leadership Fellow, served as Founding Director of the Ford Institute, as a Senior Program Officer for the
Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation and as Director of Winrock International. He holds degrees in Environmental
Science and Continuing Professional Education including a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, a
M.A. from Washington State University, and a B.S. from Seattle Pacific University.
Wendy Mueller – Finance
Wendy Mueller is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Nevada and Texas and currently practices certified
public accounting in Incline Village, Nevada. Her emphasis is on business assurance services, which include
financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. Ms. Mueller began her career with the international accounting
firm of Coopers & Lybrand, L.L.P., (now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers), where she was promoted to
manager in 1998. Ms. Mueller left to join AquaSource, Inc., a subsidiary of DQE. As Director of Business
Development, her responsibilities included identifying acquisition targets and performing financial due
diligence on those potential acquisitions. In 1999 certain employees were transferred to Acquisition Partners’
Inc., to solely perform acquisitions for AquaSource, Inc. At Acquisition Partners’ Inc., Ms. Mueller was Vice
President of Acquisitions for the Western Region. In the summer of 2000, Ms. Mueller joined the firm of William
J. Crandall Chartered to continue her career in Business Assurance services. In 2004, Ms. Mueller launched her
own firm, Mueller and Company.
Rick Rantz – Education
Rick Rantz has a research background and publishes on higher education finance. He has been employed by Baylor
University, the University of Houston, and three California community college districts. He was instrumental in planning
and building the Tahoe-Truckee Campus of Sierra College; in developing the district’s Institute for Sustainability; and
in winning several career and technical education grants. As current Dean, The Extended Campus at Allan Hancock
College, he is actively involved in planning a $38M public safety complex; is developing a green technology program;
and spearheads the economic and workforce development initiatives for the district. Mr. Rantz has lived and worked
in South America and serves as the president and CEO of the Celidon Foundation, an organization that has a strategic
alliance with the One Globe Foundation. He is also the co-Founding Director of One Globe University.

Robbin Goebel – Headquarter Operations
With a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, Ms. Goebel owned and operated a private school in Los
Angeles County for nearly 20 years. Her administrative experience during the past decade has focused on the
arts, including positions with a film festival, dance theatre, and as education and publicity director of a nonprofit
arts organization based at Lake Tahoe. For 12 years, Robbin coordinated Artist-in-Residencies with worldclass
performers and talented regional artists in schools and for community organizations.
Julie Snyder – Strategic Communication Director
Ms. Snyder translates organizational visions and programs into actionable narratives that help to advance
client causes. Ms. Snyder has more than 30 years experience in management, marketing and publishing. In the
private sector, she’s directed the marketing department of a top international travel company and served as
editor of magazines in the travel, lifestyle and ski industries. In the public sector, she has managed volunteer

programs for juvenile offenders and a metropolitan voluntary action center as well as directed development
efforts for several service organizations. Publications that Ms. Snyder produced have won the Jesse H. Neal
National Business Journalism Award and multiple Catalog Age Gold Awards.
Mary Wilder – Creative Director
Ms. Wilder brings One Globe’s creative needs to reality through a process that involves absorbing relevant
visual and verbal information until a vision emerges and is translated graphically. With almost 30 years
experience in visual arts, she offers a high degree of quality, accuracy and attention to detail, as well as a sharp
eye for type and design. Her clients have ranged from institutes of higher education to health care providers;
resorts and spas to Fortune 500 sales training consultants; and from financial institutions to celebrity speakers.
With this wide array of clientele, she has developed an ability to adapt to and communicate effectively with
diverse audiences.
Lynea Woosley – Event Management
Ms. Woosley is an event manager with the organizational and vendor relations skills and attention to detail
critical in the production of world-class events. She has produced fundraisers, site dedications and community
forums, launched capital campaigns and created events for a host of international figures including former
Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and renowned Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass. Ms. Woosley previously
held a leadership role with Live Marketing, a tradeshow and event marketing agency in Chicago. Ms. Woosley
was also the logistical wizard behind the highly acclaimed Walk the Talk event that highlighted San Francisco’s
celebration of World Environment Day in 2006.
