High efficient solvent evaporation Micro Dancer The new MicroDancer infrared vortex vacuum evaporating system impresses by its small extend and fits therefore in every laboratory. Due to its easy operability MicroDancer is fast and reliably ready for operation – especially designed for laboratories with high sample throughput. Here the MicroDancer shows its productive efficency – day after day – for an exceptional attractive value for money! Operation mode MicroDancer represents the new generation of vacuum evaporator. Vortexing, heating and vacuum are the keywords to a high efficient evaporation of solvents. Orbital shaking of the sample rack enlarges the surface of the sample. The patented contactless drive of the shaker plate eases loading and removing of the sample racks. It is not necessary to balance the samples. A major advantage for samples, obtained by HPLC gradient separation. A temperature sensor, placed in the vacuum chamber measures the drop in temperature of the sample and controls the infrared rod placed in the lid of the vacuum chamber. Vortexing Through orbital shaking (vortexing) of the samples the evaporating surface is substantially increased and they are kept in constant movement. The advantages over centrifugation are obvious. There is no imbalance problem if samples evaporate at different speeds. The quality and long-life cycle of the MicroDancer is not influenced. You can use completely different vials at the same time with the universal rack, as shown in the picture attached. Vacuum chamber insight with temperature sensor. Heating The temperature sensor in the vacuum chamber detects the temperature gradient during the evaporation process, which is caused by the latent heat under vacuum. It controls the infrared rod, which generates a constant heat distribution due to the parabolic reflectors. This avoids icing of the samples. Additionally the compartment heater can be activated to prevent condensation of the solvent at the wall of the vacuum chamber. Vacuum The diaphragm pump Vacuubrand PC3003 Vario generates optimum vacuum to operate the MicroDancer. Intelligent control based on a sensitive vapour pressure sensor avoids boiling delays by adapting the pump speed to the evaporation process.
The shaker plate is equipped with three magnetic rotary feet and can be easily placed in the circular holes at the bottom of the vacuum chamber – without any further adjustment. Individually racks can be mounted at Sample racks The patented magnetic linkage couples the racks to the bottom of the vacuum chamber. Vortexing of samples operates without any contact to the actuator. the shaker plate. There are two alternatives available: Rack with 50 ml Falcon tubes. Magnetic linkage at the bottom of the vacuum chamber. Rack with scintillation vials. Version II: To use many different vials we suggest to use sample tube blocks, which can be easily exchanged.
