Dear Prospective Partner,
The Grand Texas Airshow team is producing an unprecedented spectator event for the
coming Independence Weekend. With so much space at our host airport we’re extending the
attraction beyond the thrills and spectacle of the airshow itself to create a summer festival
with something for everyone. Expo Zones will add classic and current cars, boats, and bikes,
exhibitors from around the area and, of course, fascinating aircraft from every era. Activity
Zones will include a play area for the kids and fun things to do for all ages. Of course there
will be food – including BBQ in the “DC-3 Diner” set up in a hangar with an actual DC-3.
Awe-inspiring aerobatic performances are the highlight of the event, which is why we’ve
saved them for last. Our pilots take to the air and as the sun starts to set keep flying into the
night. The show comes to a climax with a spectacular Flying Fireworks Grand Finale
performance by a pyrotechnic equipped biplane flying amid a shower of sparks.

The Grand Texas Airshow is an Independence Weekend Summer Celebration. The
event centers on the thrill, excitement and spectacle of high flying aerobatics and
amazing aircraft, piloted by some of the airshow industry’s best pilots. But, it’s more
than just an airshow! We added to the fun with a variety of Expo Zones, Exhibitors,
Activity Zones and Entertainment!
Our host airport is less than 30 minutes from Ft.Worth, Texas and covers 520 acres.
With plenty of space for a potential audience of 10,000 to 15,000 or more and ample

2017 will be the first year for the Grand Texas Airshow.
Industry research tells us that nearly 80% of airshow
attendees come from within a 60 mile radius of the event
and nearly 70% come from within a 40 mile radius. Shows
in large metropolitan areas regularly attract 1-2% of the
population from within 60 miles, while shows in smaller
markets with less competition can expect, on average, an
even better attendance percentage!
Some of the cities within 40 miles of our
host airport include:
The Metroplex region of Texas is one of the state’s most
densely populated areas, with nearly Five Million people
living and working within just 60 miles of our host airport.
Over Two Million live within 40 miles. Using a
conservative 1% and .5% our target attendance for our
inaugural show has been set at 10,000 to 20,000
attendees.
