PAHS 2016 Matric Dance

IT was an evening of stunning dresses, elegant
suits and beautiful decorations last Thursday
when Grade 12 students donned their finery and
attended this year’s Port Alfred High School
Matric Dance. It all began with a
police-escorted motorcade from the civic centre
to the school, and then a long walk down the
red carpet to the school entrance, with
hundreds of fellow students, parents and other
supporters screaming and applauding for their
friends. Then, inside the school hall, stunningly
draped in red, white and black, the pupils and
their partners enjoyed a delicious meal and
danced until the early hours. ROB KNOWLES
