The Central Valley Corvette Club was
chartered in 1991 for the owners of the only
real AMERICAN sports car, the awesome
CORVETTE. It's a social organization with
activities that provide enjoyment for the true
Corvette lover.
MONTHLY MEETINGS ARE HELD
AT 6.30 P.M. ON THE 3 RD TUESDAY
OF EVERY MONTH AT YOSEMITE
FALLS CAFE, 4278 W. ASHLAN AVE,
FRESNO CALIFORNIA. INTERESTED

ATTEND THE MEETINGS AND MEET
OUR MEMBERS.
Club activities include monthly meetings,
car shows, weekend Club activities,
overnighters, picnics, road rallies, summer
cruises, holiday get-to-gathers and more!
Eligibility for membership in CVC is
defined in Article III, section 1 of the
bylaws in part as follows: "Membership in
Central Valley Corvettes shall be open to all
Corvette owners who are sponsored by a
member in good standing. Additionally, a
prospective member must, within a three
month period , attend two consecutive
meetings, participate in two club sanctioned
social activities, pay current membership
dues and initiation fees, and be approved by
two- thirds vote of membership present at
any general membership meeting by secret
ballot
Sponsors shall be responsible for advising
prospective member of results. All members
must submit proof of personal insurance in
accordance with California State Law upon
application for membership, and all
members must be a member of the
association providing club liability insurance
for CENTRAL VALLEY CORVETTES.
A prospective member who does not have a
sponsor will be provided one by the
membership committee. Non-members may
not participate in more than three meetings
or two sanctioned activities.
CVC membership dues are $67.00 plus an
initiation fee of $35.00. Membership entitles
two members at the same address voting
privileges at meetings (provided they are in
good standing) and membership rights.

Hi Fellow Corvetter’s,
Here we go again. Starting off with
the football party Feb. 5th it should be
a fun time. Looks like there will be a lot
of runs to choose from. So get your cars
ready to go. We had a great general
meeting. Thanks Mike & Lynne for a
great job with the raffle. The
Wednesday shows makes a great get
together thanks to Charlie.
It is up to you guys to make it happen.
And it looks like you are doing just that.
Great bunch of people having fun. Well

Central Valley Corvettes
General Meeting Minutes
January 17, 2017
The General Meeting was called to order by
President Andy Anderson at 6:30pm. Minutes
from the December meeting were read by
Secretary, Terry Johnson. There was one
correction. The Board meeting was Monday,
January 2, 2017. Tom Jarvis made a motion to
accept the minuets with the correction. The
motion was seconded by Ruth Danielsen.
Treasurer Dick Johnson gave the Treasurer’s
report. Bills for the SLO run and the Christmas
party have been paid. Dick will be figuring the
refunds and issue refund checks to participates
by February meeting. Tonight’s raffle brought in
$220. The low attendance was a factor. Dick
Danielsen, VP of Activities gave his report. The
SLO run was great and the highlight was the ½
mile long Zipline. 35 people attended Movie
Night on January 11 th . Upcoming events are –
January 18, Movie night. Eat where you want
and meet in the theater lobby at 7pm. February
5 th , Super Bowl party at Andy & Connie
Anderson’s. The party starts at 1:30pm! There
will be hot dogs and chile. Bring an appetizer.
$5.00 per couple. Feb. 12 th – Run to DiCicco’s in
Merced. $30 per couple, for dinner. Meet at
Herndon and Hwy 99 at 12:30pm. March 4 th –
Famosa Drag Races in Bakersfield. $35 for an all
day pass. See Skip Severance for more info. April
20 th – Laughlin. Contact Debbie or Keith Garrison
with questions.
May 17 th – Lake Tahoe. $300 trip fee due by
March meeting. Trip fee will include a 5* dinner
and a few surprises. Questions contact in
alphabetical order, Dick Danielsen, Lynn or Mike
Henefent, or Mike Lebda. And bringing up the
rear, July 2018 – Colorado Adventure. Dick
Danielsen took a moment to put on his VP of
Public Relations badge – filling in for Charlotte
Renna, while she partied in Las Vegas. Just a little
bump – Charlotte’s report was for the February
Birthdays and Anniversary. Our club has 88
members. Sgt at Arms, Chuck Laningham
collected $5.00 in badge fines. Debbie Garrison
gave her Sunshine and Clouds report.

The next General Meeting will be February 21 st
2017. The next Board meeting will be Tuesday,
January 24, 2017 at Charlotte Renna’s home. A
motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Scott
Parkin and seconded by Amiee Parkin. Meeting
adjourned at 7:10pm.

We leave at 8:00 am to the parade staging area (Jefferson, just west of Sunnyside).
We MUST be in place on Jefferson before 8:25 am as they close all of the streets
in that area at that time.
We will wait on Jefferson approximately ½ to 1 hour until we are called on to line up.
Wear/Bring: Your Patriotic Cap & CVC Shirt / American Flags & Decor, Water, Chair, Umbrella, etc.

ABSOLUTELY NO BURN-OUT OF TIRES. If one car spins its tires, we will all be escorted off
the parade route and never be invited back again. No throwing of candy or trinkets.

Reservations can be made anytime beginning in January.
The rate is $59.00 plus taxes on Wednesday and Thursday nights, $89.00 plus taxes on Friday night, and, if you
wish to stay over on Saturday night, the rate is $129.00 plus taxes.
A trip fee of $300.00 is due by the March meeting.
On Wednesday, May 17, we will drive to Lake Tahoe via scenic Hwy. 88 and enjoy a group dinner that night at
the Montbleu Hotel.
On Thursday, May 18, we will take a leisurely drive to Virginia City and have lunch at the Bucket of Blood
Saloon. There will be plenty of time to shop and look around. Dinner will be on your own.
On Friday, May 19, we will cruise Lake Tahoe and visit a boat museum. Lunch and Dinner will be on your own.
On Saturday, May 20, either drive home or stay and play another night!
