- The son of Avram.
As of 1903 he attended the Velika Realna Gymnasium in Banjaluka. 2368
On March 24th 1921, as the student of the Medical Faculty, he submitted the Request
to the County Office Banja Luka for issuance of the passport for Austria. 2369
On March 21st 1924, as the Doctor of Medicine, permanently resided in Subotica,
submitted the Request for issuance of the passport for Austria, Italy, Czechoslovakia,
Germany and Hungary. In the request he stated that he is "of medium height, oval face, blond
hair, brown eyes, regular nose and mouth features and wearing glasses". 2370
The Residential Office of Municipality Authorities Banjaluka, on January 16th 1942
supervised the houses of Dr Sadik Salom, who at that time was not in Banjaluka. The property
of Dr Sadik Salom was administered by the trustee Husein Coco. 2371
Moritz, called Mosko (Banjaluka, 1896 – the Jasenovac concentration camp, 20.10.1943)
- Tradesman, the son of Avram Abraham Salom and Ana, maiden Baruch. Husband of
Sida, maiden Levi. They got daughters Mira and Hanči. Jew.
After finished the first grade of the Realna Gymnasium, as of September 1st 1908 he
attended the Vocational School in Banja Luka. He apprenticed at Avram Salom, watchmaker
from Banjaluka, Gospodska St. 2372 He completed the apprenticeship on September 3 rd 1911,
passing the exam for craftsman assistant. 2373
On April 25th 1919 in 13 Kralja Alfonsa St. he registered Watchmaker’s Shop13.
As of August 7th 1935 he started up optician’s and goldsmith’s business. The Shop
was on April 11th 1942 deleted from the Register of Shops. It was added in the Register:
Moved. 2374
In the Report on the deprivation of the life or missing person, submitted in Belgrade
on August 8 th 1945 by Hanči Salom, maiden Kabiljo, the housewife from Belgrade, was stated
(rubric A) that Mosko Salom, son of Avram, 48 years old, tradesman in gold, permanently
resided in Banjaluka, Jew, as civilian, was knifed in May 1941 in the concentration camp
Jasenovac or in Lepoglava by Ustashes.
Mosko Salom supported:
- The wife Sida Salom, daughter Đula, 40 years old, the housewife, residence in
Banjaluka,
- The daughter Hanči Salom, 21 years old, the housewife, residence in Banjaluka,
- The daughter Mirica Salom, 12 years old, the pupil, residence in Banjaluka.
His wife and both daughters died in the concentration camp Stara Gradiška Moritz-
Mosko Salom, son of Avram, born in 1896 in Banjaluka, Jew, killed by Ustashe in 1943 in
the concentration camp Jasenovac. 2375
