What’s included
in the cost of my
Mobile Disco?
Every event is different, costed individually, and is based on our flagship ‘Decks On Show’ setup above which really brings the DJ into the party. We
have a standard hourly rate which is applied regardless of event type which we then amend based on factors such as number of guests and venue
size (which affects how much equipment is needed), event duration/start/end time etc. Our pricing is refreshingly easy to understand - there are no
hidden charges, and all fees are clearly stated in your agreement with our company. Any extras you wish to add to enhance the event can be added
on-demand.
Your disco with VIP includes; setup of all sound and lighting equipment prior to the start of the evening. Professional DJ equipment, sound and
lighting systems to enhance your venue, lighting includes a pair of very powerful dance-floor wash and strobe effect lights plus eye-safe Laser-like
beam lights (see next page). Up to five hours of performance time, DJ to play background music during the arrival of evening guests and performing
up until 12am.

WARNING: Our equipment produces loud volumes and
powerful flashing lights including DMX strobe effects. If you, or
anyone else who will be at the event, are subject to any form
of seizures, epilepsy or visual photosensitivity, are using a
pacemaker, suffering cardiac arrhythmia or other heart
disorders, currently taking stimulants, tranquilizers or
psychotropic medications, specifically including illicit drugs
and alcohol, please inform them that they will be subject to
loud volumes and flashing lights. If they choose to attend, they
do so at their own risk. The company or employees (VIP)
cannot accept responsibility for any outcomes.

Sound Matters
VIP believe that the sound quality is just as important as volume level. To
produce the best shows possible, we use powerful professional sound and
lighting equipment from some of the most respected manufacturers in the
industry. This is why we use the likes of Peavey, Pioneer and Numark to
deliver a crisp sound set at just the right volume for the venue.

Your night, your music.
As part of our service we offer access to our bespoke online music request
and planning area so we can tailor our services to your own wishes. After all,
this is your party and you want everything to be perfect. We believe in playing
what YOU want to hear so music is always guided by your playlist and we are
always willing to take suggestions from the guests during the party.
Remember what you like on your Ipod does not always work on the dance
floor and we’ll advise you if we feel some of your selections might kill the
dancefloor and the atmosphere! It is your party but you’ll enjoy it far more if
your guests are enjoying themselves too!
With this in mind we always recommend a good sprinkling of ‘tried and tested’
party classics to be included in your playlist. In our experience any successful
PARTY (not nightclub event) will include a significant number of tracks from
the suit-all-ages party tracks here.
Keep in mind that as the client you are of course entitled to submit a detailed
playlist which the DJ will gladly honour, however, if the event is not as
successful as you would have liked, you cannot then blame the DJ if he simply
carried out your instructions.

Are you, the host dancing? EVERY time, your guests will follow your lead so, if you are
hanging out at the bar with your friends, there's a VERY strong chance your guests will do
exactly the same. If you are spending most of your time outside, and the dance floor is inside,
your other guests will head outside with you.
Likewise, if your guests see you on the dance floor having fun, they will join you.

ABOUT VIP DJS’
Our DJs’ presentation is polished and understated, marked by artistic mixing and a professional
“cheese-free” approach to announcements and microphone work. Many DJs think that it is their job to
put on a show and be the center of attention at your event, we do not.
We believe firmly that your party is your show, and we have no interest in taking the spotlight from
you. Your dance floor will be packed, but it will be because your DJ selected just the right songs from
your request list and mixed them in just the right sequence - not because he chattered endlessly on
the microphone.
We’re sure you’ll be delighted to know that we do not dress in any type of costume or distribute silly
props to the audience, neither do we harass your guests into joining us on the dance floor or teach
them how to line dance.

MD, MC & DJ MIKE FRANCIS
DJ Mike Francis is our main DJ and runs VIP Events full time, he will always be your main point of
contact. Mike performs at a large number of our events, but also has a team of talented DJs to rely
on too.
Mike's erudite style and approach allows him to be charming and fun, without being cheesy,
something he instills into all our DJs. You’ll be amazed by their ability to keep your guests on the
dance floor having a great time. Our mission is simply create a great party and environment for
your guests.

we provide a range of additional services and equipment to complement our discos. Add that wow
factor to your special event: Uplighting, LED Dance Floors, laser shows, Big Screen TV Slideshows

Laser Show
Lasers are the most impressive lighting effect seen at any event, wedding or function. We are
pleased to offer the latest models of 1 watt 7 colour multi-beam laser systems that can display
scrolling messages, logos and animations as well as all the really cool tunnel effects seen in
large clubs and festivals.
Note. In order to see the beam effects lasers must be used in conjunction with a haze machine.
Hire fee: 2x 1 watt laser system with haze £125/£175*

Need more party time?
Djing past 12am - £35 per half hour (up until 2am)
We can offer our DJ services after 12am if required. This can only be provided with the consent
of the venue which we will obtain prior to your party.

Photo Slideshow
Sometimes it can be really nice to have a personalised
slideshow at your anniversary, christening or engagement.
Pictures of the intended bride and groom, their families and
friends and so on.
Our slideshows are professionally edited and look great plus
whatever we produce you get to keep as a special gift from
VIP.
Hire fee from £75

It’s an optional extra but, in our experience a
paparazzo photographer at your party always
adds celebrity status, sparkle and importance to
an event. 2 Hours, all images provided on disc,

Order an MTV-Style party highlights video of your event for just £69. Your DJ will
provide creative videography of the party, the guests and the dancefloor and we'll
craft it all together so you can post your video instantly to your profile on facebook,
Twitter, or any other social network. Email it to family and friends. Blog it to the

LED Uplighters
Why not enhance and compliment your venue with attractive and vibrant colours to match
your theme and style with our beautiful LED up-lighters. Serving as a stunning
background for any event LED up-lighters are also great for stage area performances for
bands and DJs too. Colours can be static or set to fade between shades.

Elegant Backlit Podium
This Classic ‘Backlit Facade’ keeps everything elegant and pretty in
large venues, especially when there is an elevated stage.

Premium Podium
This ‘Aluminium Podium’ is based on the double sized version
originally designed for Madonna’s tour with Paul Oakenfold, and
considered to be the very best DJ podium in the world at this time,
and the most expensive!
The aluminium framework is able to house a 50” LED screen for a
pre-designed photo SlideShow plus graphics which can include
your logo in the case of a corporate party.
This will add a real wow factor to your party. Video Screens look
fantastic at any event and also offers those who are taking a break
from dancing, something to watch and enjoy.
CUSTOMISED Our top of the range ‘Aluminium Podium’ with your
logo or slideshow looks spectacular in any setting.

LED Starlight Dancefloors
Although you may expect hiring a dance floor to be completely out of your budget, we aim to pleasantly
surprise you with how affordable our illuminated dance floors are.
LED floors are very elegant and if you want some great photos, then these stunning floors in black or
white promise to leave a lasting impression! The white star lit floor has a variety of settings; solid colour
fade, or flash, and is perfect to add the WOW factor to your event pictures in contrast to the dull, boring,
plain dance floors that the venues often use.

Truss intelligent
lighting podiums
Surround your guests with vibrant light and create the
ultimate atmosphere for dancing! These elegant truss
podiums will bring your venue to life – adding style,

services. As with any industry there will always be those who want

We at VIP understand that we’re at the top end of our industry and
