I have done lots for citizen cymru Wales where you look at issues involved in the community. I have also helped in events at the millennium centre in helping run shows and being a volunteer for street games and show racism the red card. I have volunteered with charity orgonisation such as Islamic Relief and Human appeal to help raise money for those in in need by orgonising dinners. I help out at Dr MZ, putting on activities, helping with events. I also volunteer with the Scouts and help them with events as well as taking an active part with my church youth group I help out with the environment, I am part of the DR.M'z Youth Forum and I help with a transitions '8-11' year old project. I tutor and often go to a drop-in centre and help around at EYST I tutor two students for an hour a week on Maths A Level syllabus. I volunteer and my local Rainbows teaching going children.I also volunteered at my local youth centre helping in the kitchen. I volunteer at a primary school as a teaching assistant. I volunteer at a reception desk at EYST. I make appointments and try to translate arabic to english. I volunteer for the Red Cross, I serve customers at the till, put new items out, arrange things in the shop, etc I volunteer in the NHS service for high risk eating disorders in Cardiff. It started off as a six week placement during my degree, and I am now volunteering there independently. I do not have real responsibilities but since I am the most versatile with statistics in the department, I am effectively in charge of the service evaluation and research for the service. This means that I collect data from the patients, present it in tables and statistics when needed (for conferences or service development meetings). I volunteer on the sail training vessel Challenge Wales which is based in Penarth Marina, Cardiff Bay I volunteered at ST Johns Ambulance in clydach I volunteered at EYST during my summer break I helped with the Play Scheme for two weeks, i helped with the activities that where going on and played with the little kids that where shy or wanted to play other games with me . I volunteered in Brownies were I had the responsibility to look after and play with the children. I was given a job by my leader and I had to complete them. For example, giving them ideas on what to draw. I also volunteered in an Arabic school, were I taught an Arabic class aged 6 and up. I taught them the alphabet and how to read simple words. My leader gave me the responsibility to also test children on words that they had to learn for homework. I volunteered in a primary school for 1 week and it was the best experience I ever had I volunteered in a project called 'Chips, Curry and Cappuccino.' This project was held at EYST ( Ethnic Youth Support Team ) in Swansea. We had to look at the food culture and background and also how the people who are from different backgrounds came to Wales and there struggles. Also we went to different restaurants and interviewed them with technical equipment lending to us by the The National Waterfront Museum. We recorded them and then edited the filming at the Water Front Museum. We then had to put up our display of work that we researched and The information we had from the people on to panels and little TVs. The exhibition was on for 2 months at the waterfront museum! The feedback we had was amazing people really did enjoy knowing the diverse community and the culture. I volunteered in a school in Pentre bach (merthyr tydfil) . the school name was greenfield's and I used to teach sport to disabled children the most rewarding thing I have ever done. I volunteered with the Air training corps twice a week for two years. I was a teachers assistant in Ystrad Mynach Primary school. I was also doing voluntary work in Nursery Rhymes. I was a volunteer at a coffee shop in the YMCA in Swansea and it was an opportunity for me to learn about working in a busy environment. I was a volunteer at my local youth club I was an assistant at the MS Society and helped out with activities. I also volunteered in Scope Charity Shop in the past. I now create the pew sheets for the church I attend. I work as volunteer at EYST with young people I work at the first desk, so I am the first person that have contact with clients. Creating CV for people to have posibility find a job. Support assisstant. Traslating for different organisation. I worked as a sales assistant in the Ty Hafan Charity Shop in Penarth. I worked in a charity shop on the main floor for 3 months, 4 mornings a week in my local primary school as a teachers aid, and 3 months in a year 8 class again as a teachers aid I wrote an article for the church on other religions.
