Genix healthcare limited has brought innovation to the industry with a totally unique and first ever brand experience for nhS practices and strong focus on staff development. with a formidable team around him mustafa plans to further grow the company by acquisition and by setting up new practices in areas where the nhS has identified a shortage of nhS places. in 2007, Genix healthcare limited introduced the Gencare brand designed to provide more affordable private dental care for patients. having established a stronghold and great respect within the industry mustafa soon identified the severe lack of professionals entering dentistry. in 2011 he become an ambassador to the national apprentice programme and announced major plans to recruit more than 100 apprentices. FINAL POWER 100 BOOK 2.59 TUE_Layout 1 14/02/2017 13:56 Page 95 KADEER ARIF Business & Management Consultant kadeer arif graduated from harold washington college chicago in Business and then studied law at the University of Sussex, Brighton. he became one of the founding members of the Brighton & hove muslim forum and was appointed as the forums policy advisor. he was elected as one of the youngest chairs of the cities Brighton & hove racial harassment forum. kadeer worked with communities across the southern counties on race equalities and was a regular guest on the BBc southern counties radio on local culture and arts. kadeer was appointed as a visiting lecturer in commercial & contract law at Birmingham city University. he was elected as one of the youngest Governors at the University hospitals Birmingham nhS foundation trust (UhB), which is the leading university teaching hospital in the west midlands and later became a member of the task & finish group for the new £545 million Queen elizabeth hospital Birmingham . his passion for education for all led him to numerous roles in schools in Birmingham, which led him to being appointed to the Kadeer was elected as one of the youngest Governors at the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust which is the leading university teaching hospital in the West Midlands cities steering group for inner city schools which was chaired by the cabinet member for education whilst working as an analyst and economic development consultant to initiate inner city policy on local town centres, kadeer was appointed at the Birmingham chamber of commerce as an advisor in the regeneration department and worked throughout the city in delivering business initiatives with the regional development agencies and local strategic organisations. he was appointed to the economic development & partnership department at the chamber as a Business advisor, in which he worked on investment initiatives in the engineering, retail and the public Sector. he delivered some of the city’s first inner city town centre management projects to revitalise local industry and investment. currently kadeer works as a successful freelance consultant in setting the vision and strategy for upcoming and emerging businesses. he is working towards launching a new initiative to support future entrepreneurs. 95
