ABOUT THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE WARSAW INTERNATIONAL MECHANISM COP19 (2013) established the Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage (Excom) in order to guide the implementation of the functions of the Mechanism. COMPOSITION OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE The Excom comprises 20 members, as follows: • 10 members from Annex I Parties; • 10 members from non-Annex I Parties, of which: o 2 members each from Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin American and Caribbean o 1 member from small island developing States o 1 member from the least developed countries (LDCs) o 2 additional members from non-Annex I Parties.
